Its color can be black. Battery standby and talk time capacity should be more than 400hr and 10hr respectively.

Nokia should only announce their phones when that model is actually available for sale. The delay from announcement to actual availability is ridiculous.

          Hi guys;p
Initially I thought this column could enlighten fellows E90 enthusiasts. But what we get here is sucks here and sucks there.
While we are in E90 comments box, please stick to E90 alone. Comments should be WHAT NOKIA SHOULD AND SHOULDN'T HAVE INCORPORATED IN THIS PHONE.
If you guys need to compare, please do your own comparisons in the respective column.
There are hundreds of phone models out there. Each is designed for everyone of you. So just choose the right phone for the applications best known to you and stop sucks here and sucks there.
We are more interested in constructive comments as to how Nokia could improve their next generation phone. If you don't like this phone, so be it. To those who have the money, just buy and live with it. After all its your prerogative..

Anyone know if this phone supports A2DP? I have the E60 and hate the fact that it doesn't.

Also, any idea on the GPS chipset that it uses? And are the maps loaded onto the memory or are the downloaded OTA?

nobody hasn't properly used the phone yet. saying it SUCKS and windows mobile are better, you MUST be playing too much. E90 promises something better but it needs to perform yet. stop whining!

                  1000 Euro? !!!!! Wow!
I think this worth about 500-600 Euro.

                  Reasons:
                  - It is too big
                  - Screen is small and not practical, can not look at documents, NET, pictures, video etc. The ratio of the screen is different than anything else.

                  - No touch screen : You can't take quick notes (which if you ever tried great)
                  Slow to navigate.

Eten, HTC, Samsung products much more user oriented, slim with more and better features for the same or less money.

                  This unit 5-7 years late!!!

moto and samsung have put a lot of money into getting all its electronics sllimmed without bad compromise to batt and superior inards..Nokia never wanted to do clamshells they were pushed into it by consumers..WHat im saying is nokia need to stop banging out any old thing and invest in shrinking the series 60 platform..texas instrument did it for windows and by shrinking the platform they doubled the procceesor speed and doubled the battery life overnight ( texas instruments omap 750)..

                        @ Riaan
You will loose bet as you can't run chm files while on laptop you can :D

I had same problem (still do) on my E60. Nevertheless, E90 seems as ultimate phone which should make me happy for next 3-4 years.

I recently expanded my E60 with LD-3W so I won't rush to get E90 as I need 3rd party applications to support internal GPS devices too.

stick to what was the phone intended for. playing games, touchscreens and other non-sense features aren't its strenght. if you want to play get those crappy windows mobile.

In Finland, E90 is expected to be in shops on week 20 in May, at 990 euros (incl. 22% VAT).

Can't wait for it. I really have to figure out a way to use Japanese language in emails, internet, and Office software as I work with Japanese companies... Anyone, any idea on this?

Do not expect too much from the GPS - without power cord.

5 hours talk time probably enough for 1-2 hours of GPS since the GPS drains lots of power not to mention the screen!!!

So after about an hour: you gonna be not just lost but also without your phone and without your PDA to leave your last thoughts to your loved once. ;)

                                        P.S. :

the keyboard seem backlit - it would be a real big mistake otherwise

GPS - it works everywhere on the earth with relatively direct view of the sky.
You need a local map software to see it on the unit or just work with the coordinates and paper map.
