Hey! this is Ammar from SaudiArabia. Two days ago i have got my own new BLACK E-90 & m very much satisfied with it & LOVEEeEeEeeeeee itttttt, before the day i bought this black one i had owned a new MOCHA (color) E90, & trust me! i have gone thru very bitter experience, it had Stiff (hard to press) keys, same rubber pad wobbling, & on opening MAPS it restarted all over again :o/,thus i had to returned it back with in 23 hours with the loss of 800 Saudi Riyals ( 215 Dollar$ ) almost :'(
but in short, now m very happie with my new BLACK E-90 :)...it doesn't have any problem which i had faced in the MOCCA one...
NOKIA YOU SHOULD IMPROVE YOUR QUALITY CONTROL, although u have done a great job by revising the model in black & almost 99.9% removed all the bugs & errors & manufacturing faults, except the one (RUBBER PAD WOBBLING) this black one is still has this problem....but very very slight.
anyways,
ALL those of you looking for a best phone in market. should go for this E-90 (BLACK).

Same number would be stored with different names ... that can also result in just showing the number instead of the name ... !

I have read your problem. What happens is that when you have two names under the same number then the phone doesnt pops up with the callers name.

i have been facing this problem for last one year that sometime name of caller doesnt pop up and only number shows up. Somebody told me that it happens when you have two similar names which was actually the solution. However there is still 2 names which doesnt pop up even though there is no similar names against these 2 names.

The only problem that i have is this:
cuts-off (hung-up)during conversation, approximetly about a 1 mnt.

1. There is no Sound cutting in video recording for me.
2. Fax software available for free on Download!.
3. Using carrying case help in protecting the Case..its for 15$ in Nokia store.

i faced a very common prob in dis phn ,, wch is also dere in my 2 of others frnz e90
well chk it out in your cells dat WHILE RECORDING A VEDIO IN NOKIA E90, WEN U ZOOM IN ND ZOOM OUT IN RECRDNG..... ND SAVES D VDEO IN GALLARY.... LATER WEN U SEE DIS VDO , MAKE SURE DAT VOLUME OF UR VDO IS DERE TILL END.....??
dere is a voice cut in last few secnds of vdo
please check it out, is dere same prob in ur phn??????????

Reading thru about the backlight faulty, I find that it could be truly a software bug. When the button is pressed, the whole screen flickers and jumped from one menu to another and it also auto dial stange numbers and charaters. Beep sound is heard continuously. Anyone out there could assist to resolve this malfunction? Please advice. Thanks.

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2008You have to change your Handset body Panel other no option... moredo you know that there is no panel available for e90, i think u should go n check ur nokia dealer and sorry to tell you that it is not nokia 1200 or some sort of cheap mobiles whose panels are available in the down market or south hall streets .........................................
