1.People this Communicator isnt for anyone so think twice before sending comments filled with criticism for size and weight...Nokia dont need to learn from anyone for making slim phones..we already have S40 phones and who wanna slim phone then buy S40 phone not an E90.

2.The E90 now has flat keyboard and it DONT touch the inner screen.

3.Battery dont last for more than 2 days...yes..what u want more than that??

4. Nokia 9500 has the S80 UI which has more advanced software but the S60 used on E90 allow more 3rd party software compatibility.

5.Next Communicator will run on S60 FP3 which is not launched till now as rumors said...btw the FP3 should have USB and touch screen.

    best phone ever.. i can find whatever i want in it.. but its only problem is it some times goes slow with no reason.. but overall BEST PHONE

        excellent phone , much faster than my previous E61i , gps with garmin soft rox , good quality my best one so far

          had it for 3 days only..the thing is as heavy as brick,so big that i wasn't sure if i was holding cellphone or the mini laptop.Buttons on the keyboard are widely spread,so i was chasing my fingers all around..Nokia gotta follow Ericsson a little and make smaller and slimmer phones..

            The E90 is a fantastic phone but has the following problems as i have now owned it almost 1 year.

            1. paint peeling of cover
            2. battery NOT lasting more then 2nd day
            3. Back battery cover hard to remove
            4. Keyboard touches screen inside causing damage(scrathing)
            5. The earpiece is know to cause noise whilst on calls or trying to make calls (very annoying)
            6. Hinges become loose at times
            7. usaual software updates need doing
            8. No FAX software
            9. Phone hangs at time (not that often but at times)

            Apart from that its a TOP PHONE!!!

            NOKIA please look into these problems as your service centre dont care! no matter how many times phone goes in for repair they say it not a common problem, please read these comments on the forum, we all have same issues, I have had hands on experience as i have used communicators since 1996 and would not use anything else unless i have to !!

              im using the E90 for more than a yr now, and i have no problems at all with it :S its performance is perfect, fast, never hangs up, no mic problems, no inner keyboard scratches on the screen... the only problem i have is that the D-pad's chrome is peeling off thats all. and its no big deal really, although for a high end phone these minor things should not happen.
              if ur having problems with the S/W update it to the newest version (v. 300.34.84) / for hardware issues well u need to c what version u have of the E90. there are couple of versions (v10 / v11 / v12 / v13 / v14) the newest one is V14 (with no hardware problems at all). even though u have the old version u can replace the inner LCD for the newer version / Keypad Frame / and the keyboard.

                I used the 9500 3 years now I use e90 in 1 years. I can say that 9500 better than E90

This thing was released last year so maybe you will hear something in 2009. I read that Nokia is probably going to wait to slap the new symbian OS version in the next one, so maybe not until then. I also read they are going to announce a qwerty-style slider reg phone soon too.

                            Randomly the phone hangs all of a sudden & says insert sim card.. how to get rid of this problem? anybody please help

                              still same, 06 Oct 2008Nokia have never realised the basic flaws, it should remove... moreE90 has following flaws:
                              1. Cannot search by Company search.
                              2. Existing search in OFFICE very very slow.Search was still ON after 10 min in a Contact list of 3000 entries.
                              3. Nokia search can be installed. It is futher slower.It works on other phones wonderfully.
                              4. When you edit CONTACTS, & if you recieve an SMS, phone freezes. You have to remove battery to recover.
                              5. No Fax support. Only ThinPrint support.
                              6. Screen touches the keypad making scratches/impressions over a period of time.

                              I was suprised to see its ratings all above 8.0 I dont beleive it.

                              I will not get rid of this phone and put someone else into trouble. Instead will used my old phone and use E90 as toy for games.

                                Hemant, 30 Sep 2008My Nokia E90 Web Browser can open 5 pages .. why not yours... moreyes my phone is updated. While, the web browser wud open second browser automatically when u click on a link on a website, but if i want to open another browser manually, i cant do it. Pl lemme know how u ve been doin it.

                                  now nokia corp., don't need to launch further new models in business series just to improvement in e90, e71, e66 and e51 till 2009. Because no one can compete these modules. These are the best modules for business class. Major improvement should be like OS upgrade e.g. 9.4 etc in business series....

                                        john, 10 Oct 2008dont compare ur n70 with e90 kThe N70 Opera Mobile browser is better than the E90's browser. It is also far better than the Opera Mini browser I installed on the N70 - and on the my new E90. The first time I tried to stream youtube on my N70, I came right. I just got the E90 a few days ago - and it is a pretty brick - err, machine. I think it's great! It will take some time to get used to. But straight off; haven't managed to stream youtube yet. It is an amazing machine no doubt.
