no Independent volume for music and ringer is a major problem and it can damage our ears if the ringer volume is full and music is played on headphones and if volume is lowered while listening to music and we misses call as ringer also goes low its a major issue for me, don't know how people manage this issue

Great phone, the best at the moment. Really awesome camera, hoping the 8.1 update will come soon.

The phone is great! That camera can really work wonders- but if you are looking for a really powerful (and overall better phone), go for the Alcatel OT-710; you won't regret the switch!

If you have used android before then i would suggest not to buy a windows phone. i personally bought 1020 but there were some features lacking in windows phone because of which it was difficult for me to get used to windows phone. Though, windows phone is very smooth and a it was a great experience using it. Never had any issue in windows os working.

The GDR3 will officially come first, but is already available as developers update so you can already install GDR3 as well.

Hello, planning to get his phone, my question is will it be included on OS upgrade next year 8.1 Blue..? Specs indicate it can be upgraded to Amber.. Please advise before I buy this phone or just wait for the Lumia 1520 or Lumia 929 since it already have the latest OS from WP... PLease advise asap....... thanks... Nokia forever... (Mhel Quia)

I recently acquired the Nokia Lumia 1020 and I'm impressed with the camera capabilities though I haven't explored it yet. The front camera 1.3 megapixel is amazing still very clear in the screen though the actual picture after the shot is a little bit low quality. Windows store has an improved applications though not as great as Android OS. I'm positive that windows will continuously talk to creators of popular applications to do windows version applications of candy crush, injustice, 2 fuse, and more. The phone is big but not that bulky.

Bro trust me go for lumia 1020. even i shifted from 808pv. the phone is awesome. camera is gr8 and battery life and windows is really smooth and fluid. no lag no hang. and windows has all the latest apps. where symbian is dead now. thou i still have my 808 as a back up fone.
