love this phone because of camera but performance inferior to android can't play all video format like droid,can't highlight downloaded browsers like droid,consume alot of memory in single picture.no card expansion.big mistake Nokia.Samsung uses android&window,htc use android&window.Nokia use wp&wp sleeping giant.

Sony RX100 is less expensive and better, and you still have enough money to buy a cheap Android that is far better than any WP8!

Yes there is no problem with... moreInstead of accepting your mistake with that link,you've started making up lies,again every avi file you are likely to download from the internet will.play on wp8 devices,the only ones not playing are .flv and .mkv,of which .mkv is hardly used now.....lying won't help your cause,.flv is the only is the popular format not supported by wp8,but that is also not aupported by any other mobile out of box.....

It's the smoothest os there is and the screen on the 1020, even though not full 1080p looks nicer than any phone I've used... Including HTC one... gs4...xpz and iPhone 5 ... and the games on the phone, especially the Xbox games look ridiculously better than any mobile phone out right now.. I don't know how they got the screen to look like it does but it's just flat out amazing... Just pick one up and think for yourselves...

if people can afford a flagship phone (in this case, he Lumia 1020) then most likely they can also afford a computer or a laptop for storing important photos right?

Problem is associated with .avi, .flv,.mkv. Files. i tried Converting videos into Avi using mentioned codecs using Any Video converter, Total video converter etc... But nothing worked... Also tried in Xbox and Zune compactable modes... But still unable to play... Whenever i am trying to play an Avi file my phone shows this message...
