ravi1234, 13 Aug 2013this si the best phone no doubt but problems are 1. too hae... moreI guess u haven't ever used a pure view camera...I use 808 pv and realise how awesome it is...its not about mp its about pure view technology. ..sampling of pixels to get the best even at 5mp or 8mp...try any other fone at 8mp vs pure view 8mp then u will realise the diff in details....well battery life of each fone also depends how u use it...no android or ios have good battery life either. ..i love lumia 1020...def my nxt fone... :) good job nokia

Or maybe they want to test it in their European office while the preview was done in the US office, who knows.

Good one... but my dream lumia is with 4.8 true hd display with 300ppi, 1.9dual core processor, 12mp pureview camera, and 2500mah battery, 2 gig ram sd card, bring this nokia...

Great smarthphone with a unbeatable camera, Nokia Lumia 1020 all the way. Well am I glad I like Nokia an WP8. So no whining from me, like more 75% of the other comments excist of whining, complaining, jealousy and then hating.

this si the best phone no doubt but problems are 1. too haevy than other rivals. 2.battery life bit concrned about as used two 920 less tha 7 hours batterry needed to charge again. not sure about this. 3.dont know but i used 920 ussues with call drop. needed to reset.
4. cost looks too high for a smartphone. as people who takes pictures from mobiles most of them will be shared on social hub which doesnt really need that hudge MP quality. also 13 Mp or even 8.7 MP can do the job then why shall we pay more for this. instead where needed can get professional cameras.
but if they put the pocket friendly price would probably will attractive to compensate the weight.

a decent DSLR camera can cost upto 2x more (with necessary accessories) than the cost of the Lumia 1020, much heavier and bulkier to carry, and they cant make calls when on emergency
while Nokia 1020 you can do anything any Windows phone can do + a camera with an average DSLR quality pictures
(im not a Nokia fan but I cant help but admire the beauty of this phone)

Only plus is the camera, then why don't you buy a DSLR for that price range? it'd be insanely superior than lumia's camera!

Reasonable price. Considering its a smooth fluent os. Good quality build and of course a out of this world camera. IM getting one
