Does someone know when this jewel will reach french market ?
I just sold my 920 to buy this 1020 but I heard about 4G / LTE incompatibilities between France and United States mobile networks... I bought a 112 which can call and send messages but I can't wait anymore !

I know Nokia can produce the best picture quality compared to any other phone brand with something lesser MP with the technology and sensor type they have. It is true to say that Nokia has had best camera phones among other phones even in the past. But in a flagship ship model like 1020, frankly, as a Nokia fan, I would expect something more than a 41MP camera… at least a bit bigger display with best specs, better GPU, more battery power and more memory or a memory card slot… I don’t want to envy others by seeing their phones with better specs after buying a Nokia flagship model.
Nokia seems to be lagging in implementing newest technology… see, once they had Symbian when there were no mobile phone OS in other phones and they were the best, at that time they took a nap like in the Rabbit and Tortoise fable. Others worked hard and they went on the top of the table. Really, I’m not here to argue with anyone, I’m the one expect to get the best out of Nokia…
Come on Nokia, you can do it…

Wow! 41 MP camera! But where do I store those pics and
vids after using up the 26 GB of user-available internal memory with music and HD games? Yes the camera shoots and records @ full HD resolution, but I'm wondering how can I appreciate them if the display is not capable of showing them in HD? Com'n Nokia, you can do better than that. Don't make in installment your implementation of better technology if you want to matter and be significant in today's battle of phones. After all these years you still haven't learned the lesson of history and the manufacturing philosophy of other companies. Beauty and numbers, Nokia. Users don't give a damn about the meaning of the specs. What they know is the bigger the number, it must be better. And if course, don't forget that we are in the age that aesthetics matters. Make a phone that will let others drool upon. If you don't learn and follow the trend, you'll become obsolete and 2020 may be too long for you to stay as a brand.

Anonymous, 04 Aug 2013Samsung Galaxy S4 has two quad core processors, that's true... moreYes its true....my frds S4 motherboard crashed....and he say the fone heats up a lot....we dnt really need high processors...and windows fone is light just like symbian....and symbian could handle 41mp camera and runs hd games really well with less ram...And window is very smooth as it is...and battery life is way better than android fones....I think 1020 is a real king in fones....I have used most fones...now main fone is 808 pv...and note 2....

I hv Lumia 510 & 520 ,& i can't send image my l520 to l510 ,,,,i think who people love nokia w8 phone ,,, they hvn't buy till then ,,, hardware nice but software related problem 1.. U can't download video or songs from internet,,,,,,,,,,,,no play all kind video format ,,hvn't mx&Avi n other video player in window market ,,,,even Lumia 1020 not play all type video format ,,,,no call recorder,,,,most apps in window market are useless,,,,,,,,,i want to install my all laptop apps in my Lumia 520 orrrrr i want nokia install android os in my Lumia 520 ,,,,nokia u lose ur market share ,,,,w8 phone resale value ZEROOOOOO
