its better for nokia to stick with windows, as like its neighbour IOS, its hard to jailbreak and download games freely from internet..at least paid apps and games developer got paid for what their worth.
The most i hate about nokia right now is, the availability in my asian region. I don't know why and why they expand lumia 1020 market so slowly compare with the other brand. i know i will buy this phone on release, but the waiting game is killing me.

Anon, 22 Jul 2013Very nice device but have one concern. 32gb storage and NO ... morenokia 1080 is expected to support USB OTG or has a high chance of getting such feature when microsoft and nokia decided to release an update.
so when you are travelling, just bring with you a 1000GB external HDD and take pictures and videos like there's no tomorrow without caring about storage space

Well, I could have bought this one, but since Noika delayed a bit, so I bought HTC one and I am happy with it. I will go for Nokia when it comes with Lumia Lumia Phone with 1080P, 2GB RAM, same camera sensor as of 1020 and higher pixel density. I will be waiting for this phone.

I do not have any ideas why I still love Nokia. It is like something there I can have something special. I think 1020 is something special. You have now as well normal OS..but yes price is high. Need some time. And people who talking about ..buy a camera instead..they are stupid. Why I need extra things if I can make a calls, take a super quality photos, read an email and etc. just taking my phone. that is a future and by Nokia.

Very nice device but have one concern. 32gb storage and NO SD card slot - what happens when you run out of storage, do you pay high data fees to Telco's and buy additional storage from Microsoft SkyDrive to upload photos & videos when travelling or is still cheaper to simply buy a cheap phone and a decent DSLR from Sony, Nikon or Canon? I suspect Nokia is dancing to Microsoft's tune forcing consumers to the CLOUD and subscription software solutions. The 1020 is tempting but for the time being I'll stick to my DSLR and continue use a cheap phone just for making phone calls. It's certainly a more cost effective solution to paying high data fees and risking a bill shock and paying Microsoft for storage space over and above 7gb.

Ios has absolutely no edge toward Wp. Android in reality makes one's life not easier at all, nothing more than marketing gimmicks help android sales. Lumia line? It's not so good, it's simply the best available, sure it must improve and get still better.

First of all none of you have said anything remotely interesting or even helpful regarding this phone. Granted a 41MP camera as well as Zeiss glass is a massive bonus for a smartphone. But it still runs Windows.. Simply put, your running on a closed system just like IOS but with terrible support in terms of Apps and even worse when it comes to development. Android are at the moment the better O/S to use. As far as brands of phones go i have tested EVERY Lumia to be released before the release dates and if your looking for a phone that is easy to use and has a good camera.. Good not great...then i would go for it. But looking for something to rival the flagship Apple or Samsung handsets.. no where near. Remember if you want a camera Buy a DSLR..

I agree, that is why I'm hoping the price will drop a little, but probably not. Cause for those who want the best Lumia and not necessarily a 41MP cam, there's the 920/925...
