Every phones had advantages & disadvantages so it depends on the user..But for me i would prefer to pick this phone. My last nokia phone was C6-01 & switched to Android Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I already saw the smoothness of Windows OS and it amazed me plus the powerful camera & quality build of Nokia its a great phone you will not regret if i have it. Don't blame or hate manufacturers if you think they don't have your required specification because this is their business not yours. Just buy the phone(s) that fits your daily needs or budget.

    About the CPU
"On 17 November 2010, Qualcomm announces the roadmap for Next-Gen Snapdragon SoC development, including the *MSM8960*, citing future improvements in CPU and GPU performance and lower power consumption"
    .
    November 2010 !!!
    HELLO WE'RE IN 2013
    .
Nokia users deserve better than this
don't lie at yourself ans say that you can't get something better
and i don't mean better by overclocking or a quad-core i meant something new and innovative not from 2010
    .
all what they could improve from 920 is the camera and 1GB of RAM ?
    one word.. Rubbish

AnonD-816, 11 Jul 2013No micro sd slots.. Better get 808.yeah, i considered to get 808 for the camera and 920 for wp8 and lte connection. But i think 32gb is not too bad since you can easily transfer files unlike in apple products. Although i have to say, i maxxed out 16gb in ihpone in just 1 month simply because it is hard ti transfer files unlike other os. I just hope 1020 price is much less than 808+920 price combined.

I was considering switching from Android when Lumia 925 came out, but now I'm definitely switching. The 1020 is just unbelievably good!

am ok with the specs... the only thing that bothers me is the absence of Sd card, dual core when everybody's quad, and also poor design alongside OS.......NOKIA should really start making droids....also a larger screen let's say 5.1 or 5.2" wouldn't have hurt anybody....Nokia still has a long way to go before it can catch up with the likes of samsung, htc, sony and lg.......NOKIA'S now like blackberry very poor with specs and battery.....

In the specification is information about offline maps, but there is no information about offline navigation and GPS (like Nokia N8), only A-GPS and A-GLONASS is available? Could you please explain?

AnonD-143591, 11 Jul 2013Great I can record at 1080p but can only watch at 720p and ... moreAbsolutly baffled why would anyone watch 720p or 1080p video on their puny screen mobiles when VGA is plenty good enough in reality.Surley its their to enjoy on big tv screen.

How can you see detail on puny screen ,,i have same problem with gamers..Why would you game on a silly puny touchscreen phone when a proper console offers proper button gaming control pad?????????? Accuracy on full touch is very limited in fact just bring back some buttoned high end smartphones and end this boring miserable slab smartphone rubbish.

Whilst I agree with you that a pic taken with a 41 megapixel lens would be much better than one using a 5 megapixel lens, I also think the Nokia Lumia 1020 is ugly c.f. iPhones, and the Android System has a lot going for it. I wish they would've chosen a newer and better SoC, such as the Snapdragon 400. It will probably be perfectly fast and smooth either way, but some advancement in performance over the previous flagship Lumia devices could've made AT&T's steep on-contract price a little bit easier to swallow.

This will be my next phone, but I do hope it will be available here soon. Probably not, so I must buy it in Germany...
