If you dont b... morePhone nowadays doesn't measure up by paramater ,but integrated between hardware and software could produce amazing photos,it simple somehow before our photos being snap.,it already manipulating by smartphone software itself, if you know camera 360, smartphone camera also do the same setting on it,but with very quick capture and manipulating with amazing processor speed.

    This is certainly the best camera phone ever. If you dont believe, investigate focal length, aperture, etc parameters.

      I Had this phone from shortly after it came out until yesterday when I broke it. I loved this phone. I am getting an iPhone 6S from work and the specs on the 2 year older 1020 are much better or comparable on all categories. They did a poor job marketing this phone. It was really a great product beyond the amazing camera.

        According to DXO Mark, iPhone 5s(NOT 6S!), Xperia Z1(NOT Z5 premium!) and other phones are better than Lumia1020.

                  The 41 megapixel shooter is just amazing....crisp pictures with sufficient extraordinary detail

                    The update to Windows 10 Mobile for the 1020 will come available in January, can't wait.

                      neil, 12 Nov 2015I have this phone for 1 yr and 6 mos.I buy this because of ... moreWell, 4 hours of continuous usage is ok for 1020, more then 5 hours won't give you even if it's new. Is not that far from most of the devices, there are really just a few exceptions that hold their charge past 8 hours with continuous usage. You can count them on your hand. Most of your problems are cause off your lack of knowledge, sorry to tell you. If the phone freezez you can force restart it. Never heappened to me but well, some of users have this problem sometimes. To force restart you just need to hold power button together with volume button (down), pressed for 10 seconds. Their you go. Phone shuts down. If this freezing problem happened often you could have format tge device bringing it to factory mode. Their is a setting you can acces and retore your device to factory mode. Look it in your settings up. As for windows 10... Well, this system is on beta, is not for daily use, at least it wasn't. So wipl get way better then it was in the next two weeks. Anyways, you should wait for the official release. And even so, after update you will probably have to format your device to make it work properly and at it's full capacity. So, back up your files before;).

                          I have this phone for 1 yr and 6 mos.I buy this because of its camera .for the first couple of mos.the screen freezes,(but most often shows gray screen) theres nothing you can do, it can't even turn off the power I often experience that problem so I return it to the store and use its warranty,after 3weeks Of repair from its factory the performane became good, i never experiene the prblem before , but theres another problem occur.. I always connected to the internet or sometimes wifi but it battery only last 4 hours in continual use connected to internet.the windows 10 roll and I used to upgrade to it but after the update I was happy to explore the new os but I was wrong, it was the start of nightmare the 4hours of battery life span was reduce to shortest battery life ever. Even I take it fully charge battery only last not long 1 hr. Sometimes 30 mins. Sometimes 15 mins and sometimes 5 mins. No one can tell.. And after your phone pretending that it has no power at all even you are tired of waiting for 4-6 hours before it fully charge I think it has mind of its own..yes it is.after updating windows 10 this phone has no use. Sometimes if that my lucky day the battery last longer an hour. You can't share your internet via wifi. Sometimes if you connect it to your charger the phone doest detect it. Hiw horrible.phone has no power and when you connect it to charger it can't be.even in computer it cant be connect to usb hub, so i cant downgrade it to W8.1 And so many problem .so I brought it to the repair shop because the store where I purchased this phone was gone. I was shocked because the place I was going to became different from before it has new diffrent store.( i eas in taiwan those days.) so I used to pay on another repair center. It was 2 mos before it is given back to me now it runs on w8.1 I never ever upgrade it to w10 again. And now I can use it , the camera is still ok. But not as good as before. Sometimes it is dim even it is in outdoor. The battery only last 4 hours on continuous usage( even no internet.just gaming) and thats based on my own experience on this phone.

                                I still adore my 1020, after two years it's still a very high end phone, and according to recent news updates about the coming Windows 10 mobile upgrade, this phone will receive the update around January.
