Don't use it while charging if heats up to much. After more then half a year my phone does not heat up but only when extreme using, like using camera browsing charging in the same time, or playing games... At some point will accommodate with the new user and will start to cool down, or not heating at all.

Got the LG G2 - fab display, brilliant battery but the only downside is the bloatware and the security side to it. You're always having to scan things and then it tells you your phone is "overheating" so you have to "cool" it down with the scanning app.
The 1020? I so love this phone - everything is perfect and it really is (no security issues, no having to "cool the phone down") - BUT it's the battery that is a total BIG let down. And what's the point of having a smartphone when you have to "disable this or that". I'm sticking to my iPhone 6 as I constantly use it all the time as a "smartphone" and the battery is briliant. Does not let me down whatsoever.

hello i have the lg g2 for 1 year and is a very good smartphone but i want to trade it with lumia 1020 cause of the camera and better built quality is anyone knows if it worth?or anyone had an experience with these 2 phones?thanx

I am sure this phone will be able to get windows 10,, cause when joe showing up about windows 10,, he did use lumia 1020 as sample,,, ;)

I am newer to Nokia Lumia 1020, Handsets backside heats up a lot when I use the camera for 1 minutes. I can't touch my finger backside of the handset. Is it normal or there any defects or I have show it at Customer care center?

I m very satisfied with 1020.
But s... morethe camera drains battery so if you use it much maybe a cameragrip will help wirhbextra battery life.
Also you can set screen brightness to low and disable as many apps possible which running in background. Hooe it helps mate.
Battery gets better after some charges. Like a car, new car is less fuel efficient than the same car with 10.000km on the clock.

My 1020 is stuck in camera mode,like frozen,no matter what buttons I push it will not turn off. A major disappointment,I only had it for a few days. It won't do anything!!!

Frie... morePlease try these steps:
1- Set Black theme & lock screen
2- Turn off Double tab to wake up the phone (If possible)
3- Try not to pin many apps to home screen
I am not sure if it works for you but it really works fine on my 925
