This phone may be 5.5 years old now and only runs on Windows Phone 8.1, but would that stops me from buying now?
Not even a tiny bit. In fact, I will use this as my photography gear alongside a Nikon external flash depsite its age.

But my 1020 doesn't get as warm as my 930, which has a metal frame and can get much hotter when using it for a longer time. You might have to check your CPU temperature, maybe it's getting too hot.

G'day, I love this phone, but does anyone else have overheating issues? It is worse in summer, but does occasionally happen in winter. I usually stick it in the fridge/ice box to cool it down. What do you do with your 1020 when it overheats?

I'm always showing an error just to login attempt to facebook, cannot find reason nor fix, would strongly recommend NOT to buy this phone

Luck, 02 Nov 2018My Lumia 1020 is in 8.1 Denim, I received update recently. Hello there,
I am looking to get my hand on windows phone again after about 2 years of switching to iOS. Would you be kind enough to let me know if these apps are available and working fine (Facebook, Messenger, Whatsapp, Skype, Line, Instagram). I am not a gamer so this is not important for me. Oh and how about the battery life on this windows 8.1 for this particular model? Can it last me for a day if you is always on mobile data for emails and above mentioned apps?

HI, everybody you can get latest win10 (1709) from XDA . i found an image that work. 2.4 gig i think. only BT wont work. it is perfect
