Sadly, music recognition via Bing search on WP8.1 isn't supported anymore. I miss that feature, it was so convenient when you were listening to a song and had no idea who was the artist or what the name of the song was. But this feature gave the answer.

Raikapleon, 23 Apr 2018Is the Nokia Lumia 1020 still worth buying in 2018Yes, for the camera, for a lag free OS even after 5 years, for day to day use of watching videos and using WhatsApp, for email (best email client I have ever used), for some web browsing (I am writing this on my 1020 now). It is still a very strong phone. Too bad for not getting updates no more. But blame MS for that. If you get your hands on an affordable 1020 I would definitely say go for it.

I have syncing issues with my Yahoo account, it ask me to enter the password and if I do, it asks again, and again. Any solutions?

However unofficially you can upgrade to windows 10 and have more applications, it is better 8.1 is more fluid. I love my Lumia 1020. But there is no update to Windows 10. Very annoyed !! Also can't download apps because its a Windows 8 !! Can't believe that the company doesn't recognize this Lumia anymore !! Has anyone that has the 1020 that has found a way around these problems ?? Or is this Lumia doomed to just be a Canada before long ??!!

This phone was ahead of its time, great phone from Nokia. I still prefer this phones camera over my newer phones. This Nokia design started with the N9 wa so good looking too.

Got my lumia 1020 used for $220 3 years ago, and my device had a year of usage before, it still works perfectly, switched to windos 10 but reverted quickly because windows 10 doesnt do justice to this great device. I can still outshoot cameras from the latest iphones and samsungs (in stills especially). The os is very smooth, responsive and intuitive. The shell and the screen are tough like a tank. Dropped it hundreds of times with no case and no vizible kink is seen. The audio jack produces very good sound and the dolby option gives me room to adjust so many details, i have yet to use a device with such a good dack. Now i won a samsung j5 2017 but i will never sell my 1020. Nokia wold gain milions if it builds this device with android.
