This is almost perfect! hope to see an upgrade of this with an additional specification of atleast 13MP front Camera
and larger screen that is pocket and hand friendly and not as big as 1520,additional Windows applications and thinner width.

But when i do tap/copy (mp3-track) from pc to 1020, the option "paste" into the folder music (1020), is disactivate (no bold tone). Maybe because the PC has Windows XP??? i dont know.

UH, another one. My music just disappeared, not one, or two, but all. I never sync i don't care about that stuff, i just copy paste from my pc and today, boom. No music there. plugged it to my pc, NO music there. It looks like i never had music in it. Microsoft? Right now, you just s*ck. I just can't believe Nokia abandoned symbian for this... It may have been slower (of course, it had freaking small hardware) but it was WAY better. Android? crap, IOS? CRAP. WP. YOUNGER CRAPP. Symbian is just how mobile systems should be. One update, if that goes wrong, after 3 years of so called developing?!! I just don't care, i sell this piece of crap... And microsoft should Take a note of this: This is not cause of hardware, this is cause of their crappy crapp system that tried to be another crappy crap system and messed up even worse.

This little phone is a great, refreshing and smooth alternative to the mainstream Smartphones in battle currently.

I say little, because it seems like Smartphones are now going for the larger is better strategy, with "Phablets" on the rise. I would still like to own a phone that i can use, fully, with just one hand.

The 1020's decent, pocket-able, 4.5 Inch screen size is easy to reach at all corners with a single hand, and its sharp corners makes it seem more firm in your grip. The 1020 also comes with a premium finish as compared to other phones in its category, just coming short of HTC's full metal designs in my opinion. The hard, yet soft to touch Matt finished rear cover and seamless Unibody design makes it stand out from flimsy back covered, open up and split on falls, competitors.

Coming from a Galaxy S4, I decided to quit the Smartphone battle, to quit all the gimmicky addons and oohs and aahs. The Galaxy had a lot of features but now, as a more senior member (20's Ha ha) of the cellphone market, I cant help but change my views on what a Smartphone should do. The Windows 8.1 OS I am now using with the 1020 seems way more smooth and less intrusive than the s4's Android OS and complex launcher, although lacking in apps, its definitely not a big deal as I have no interest in many of the Apps/Games Google has to offer. The Windows Appstore does however have a range of good apps, you will actually use on your phone and not just open once and leave. I Received a lumia, Nokia Store/Microsft Account Gift of $25 with the phone, which i used to purchase some premium apps that i dont have to purchase again with future updates etc... It has the social apps that you need being, Facebook, Twitter, Vine, 6Chat(Snapchat), Instagram (38mp shots man), skype and various others. The Nokia collection Apps are quite good, with up to spec navigation with Here Maps and its suite of apps and picture editing with Creative Studio,

Its ,much more fun to be with a developing Smartphone OS such as Windows now as it was interesting when Android came out, I feel the snowball effect coming on with its new range of devices selling quite well and Growing Appstore, it doesn't have battery draining silly one time use gimmicks like many other phones offer, it offers a solid package with easy to use and update software and a solid premium and accessories department. Nokia is here to Stay, even though Microsoft just Bought it.

Yep, i never expected to much from it but i feel the battery is eaten to fast, at a point that is getting on my nerves. I always loght about others smarts that are pretty much useless when comes to chargeless usage. Developers i won,t install. They don,t have it right yet also, i don,t want to void my warranty. Until now all i like about it is the camera and hardware, wich is just gourgeus. Unfortunatelly the system let,s me down with every usage. I feel i,m going backwords not forewords. No multiple file sendig via bt. No multiple contacts sendig per bt, no real backup as a backup should be. Camera ate 20% of battery in just 5 minutes or 10 tops. I bougt this cause i wait for the update whoch sounded promising. And i hope the final release will be, cause if not, even though i like it,s autstanding hardware and design, i will probably sell it on ebay and buy me another.... Maybe going back to symbian. That system is just to mature for what kind of kind are right now on the market....

                                Very best phone

How the life is going and how you see WP OS??? after all this days with the mighty Symbian???

About the battery...you need to know that unfortunately the battery consumption is not as what you experienced with Symbian...My Lumia 1020 drains the battery very fast too and it's really sucks specially when using Sim data or using the camera a lot...Try to update your phone to WP 8.1 preview for developers and you will got an update, supposed to fix some of the battery issue, but don't expect too much

hope you will love the Lumia 1020, it's great device and will give you new ways for how you will see the smartphones

Hey guys, update about my 1020. At my asking i recived a nee one. Now i jave the black version of it, i like it more then yellow. Now i have a problem. Battery. Anybody expirienced battery drain in strange ways? So to say. Yesterday i charged it. Sorked a bit on it, it draind pretty much fast for what i,ve done. So then i had to work. Five hours was never touched. When i left it was having 92% after 5 hours had 89. Not that big of a deal, but... I got home, entered internst, and after less then 20 minutes on viber (chating) battery droped at 56% and i could see it being eaten like skytles. Anybody here experienced this type of drainage?. Am pretty sure there is a system bug.
