Hey guys will the 1020 be able to handle the Windows 8.1 update since it doesn't have the latest hardware ? What do you think ?

Best money can buy, this smartphone is awesome. Only missing built in wireless charging. Still a 10 out of 10. Best smartphone.

Very good phone, my advice is to buy it. It is an awesome phone with the best camera, good battery life and food screen. And of course fast.

This phone camera is good but when compared to high end dslrs of today's, this phone comes very much close but as you zoom, the picture lose details. I wish it had a 10x or more optical zoom with high grade lens. The camera UI is simply mind blowing and brilliant however Nokia 808 PureView camera UI offers many many settings except for manual controls. I don't care if my phone is slim, if it has a big sensor and a big battery which is removable, then I'm okay with it. This phone lives up to the tag line, nothing else comes close. Worth every penny. Looking forward to some freedom on Windows phone OS next update.

Let's send lots of e-mails to Microsoft to make a Nokia octa-core with 75mpx and 8k recording and also an underwater case for diving !
HDMI connection included.
Also a case with a zooming lens like s4 zoom !

Looking it from a positive side, we'll develop the habit of frequent offloading photos onto PC, Laptos, etc... Lolz~ at least now I started to learn the importance of organizing my storage & photos =P

It's "THE PHONE" person who loves photography and travel around. Some complained bout the long shot to shot interval, I do experienced it as well. But I would say nothing beats the fact that all you need is just an awesome shot and this completes your album! Few days back I did "light art" shots just using this phone and a tripod... it's totally mind blowing.
Btw I'm not a frequent gamer thus never test the gaming capabilities to the limit. Cheers to Lumia 1020~ =D

Of course it drains faster when you use the camera a lot, but that is logical. The camera grip will give some extra batterylife for when you want to use if often.

Nazi, 21 Feb 2014Hi Guys since most of you have used the Lumia 1020 just wan... moreBattery life is very gud....it last me 18 hrs with heavy use and 2 days with medium use....but battery life settles after few battery cycles.
