Even it does not support any app running in background ,no file manager , downloaded videos don't show in video player ,almost good are in paid categories , don't have any nice browser other than internet explorer which doesn't support any type of file download , even uc browser don't download any type file in background ,....its mental rape to the user ..I'm. Frustated in two days from it is worse than Symbian

u also hav another choice is l620.. except screen size all features are higher than l520..
ur choice which 1 u hv 2 buy.. both are awsome phones..

bt new lumias consists multi-core cpu so they wl definetly upgrade to 9..

Dear L520 users...i gota problm,when go for downloading from store a display saying ERROR 80070057 comes.
apart fr tis problm
1.d phone s just WOW,
2.internet speed is amazing(just compared with galaxy grand)
3.u wont regret....tis specially for those confused guys whether to buy tis phone on not.

I am using this phone since last week ,Awesome phone i have ever seen . You wont regret it .Windows 8 is buttery smooth , touch is too good .... All videos , songs and even high end games are working ... Battery back up is good, phone is slightly heating but its not an issue .... Best buy phone for 10000 price range....

This is not at all a problem. It cools down more fast as it gets heated. If you are still unhappy then put on a back cover(case).

[deleted post]If you want to install apps that you have downloaded to your sd card, then you should first go to 'store' and tap the sd card icon to install apps from sd card. There the available apps are divided into compatible and non-compatible sections.
The videos that are recognized by the player are shown and the others are the one which are not recognized. As we all know windows phones must have an app for opening any kind of file. May be the videos that are not visible are not supported by the video app. Once check the file names of those missing videos, windows apps doesn't recognize files with long names. If this doesn't work then try changing the format and copy them.

awais, 14 Apr 2013lumia 520 (IPS-LCD) have better display than lumia 620(TFT)... moreBut Lumia 620 has Clear Black Display for amoled like blacks and better sunlight readability. So isn't the Lumia 620 better in terms of display. Have you seen both of them side by side?
