Seems like there are mixed reviews on Lumia 520.
Has anyone been able to get hands on it yet? If yes then can you give some details about it. As I am hell interested in this specific set
I heard the battery life is not upto the mark, but that might as well be rumors.
And what's the market price?

pls can real users of these oses advise us,cos in nigeria here we mainly depend on network data plan buying cos wifi connections are rare,i've used nokia 5800 symbian fone,but now i'm using tecno d3 android 2.3.6 fone.but by my observation it seems to me like android consumes too much data,so my question now is among window os,symbian os,blackberry os & android os.which of them consumes lowest rate of data,cos i want my monthly data plan lasting longer into the month for me,pls real users of the oses enlighten us.

AnonD-132397, 04 Apr 2013compare to 620, 520's screen quality is not that good. blac... morehaha.. yeah buddy indeed 720 is better.. but compare it with high mid range mobiles not with the 520 atleast. Its a entry level mobile buddy and the config is preety good. 520 has the same GPU, CPU n RAM if comparing it with 720.

as the screen for 520 is bit grey in black theme, i think it should not be ips screen, and i have double checked nokia website, i just realize the lumia 520 in china uses tft screen, in aus it is ips.

Just got 520 from HK, i got both 620, 8s at the moment for testing purpose. personally I prefer 620. which has the best specs of these 3 low end wp8s. 620 and 520 has 8gb rom, 8s only has 4gb, please note for wp8 you can only install apps to internal memory, the wp8 system itself is about 2.2gb. if you hard reset the phone 620 and 520 you will get 5.x gb free rom, 8s will get around 1.8gb. when the time passby you will have less rom capacity like windows system. big problem for 8s is if you recently updated via OTA, you phone will be dead and stuck on the update screen, as it does not have enough memory for update.(htc announced compensation for it, a free earphone will be sent to these customers). 520 has no nfc, no gyro, no compass, no front cam, no flash light. that means you can not use city lens function. city lens is the best function for nokia lumia imo. 8s has the most decent design it has charging light which lumia doesn't have. both 520 and 620 has super sensitive touch. however after update to firmware 1003, nokia disabled super sensitive touch for 620, as before it has little bit lag .Now it has no lag at all. for battery, so far 520's battery has not been activated. it still last longer than 620. when you use 620 for the first 10 time the battery won;t last that long. after 10 times you will find the battery life increase a lot. best way to active it is let it do for 10 cycles. Or there is another quick way to active it(steal the method from nokia tech support), full charge the battery, do a soft reset, you will find your battery is around 94%, fully charged again, another soft reset. 2-3times you will find after you reset the battery still remains on 100% than means your battery has been fully activated, it sounds stupid for li-ion battery, however this method is from nokia. both of these 3 phones only got 512mb ram, for the wp8 system itself, it's fast enough, no lag at all. however for new games, such as temple run(new game on wp8) which itself only 22mb, it need 1gb ram to run it. so game lovers ... for the screen, 620>8s>520, even 620 has the smallest screen, the color the contrast ration seems to be the best, 8s i have got 1 dead pixel and 1 stuck blue pixel on the screen, 520 has better view angle, however the screen seems to be a bit grey in black theme.
in conclusion, best design 8s, best performance 620. the only good things for 520 is the battery and screen size.

shahid, 03 Apr 2013any one using 520 can tell me about screen quality, viewing... morecompare to 620, 520's screen quality is not that good. black is not pure black. view angle is pretty good. battery life is decent compare to 620. camera quality is pretty much same as 620 which has lots of noise. 720 is better than both of 620 and 520 which has 1.9 aperture. 520 and 620 both have super sensitive touch. however after 620's update to 1003. it disabled super sensitive touch.

lower end of lumia series. compare to 620. there is no front cam, no flash, no gyro, no nfc. you can not use city lense(it needs gyro). the screen seems bit grey on black theme. camera quality seems exactly same as 620. good thing is nokia offers 8g rom for low end lumia. recently htc 8s got problem with OTA, as it only has 4g rom.

This time nokia defenetly will win the game in market share.lumia 620 will be real winner for budget & affordable prize tag & increase number of ecosystem, i just bought l620 a week ago & beleive this me the prize is valuable for any kind of human for smartphone & can get dual core prossesar, i think nokia lumia 620 will sell more than 30 millions in shorttime, i satisfied for bought it, thanks.

Problem with viber on WP8 resolved (about sincing contact).You should just reinstall viber.
