MS bought Nokia doesn't means they force them for anything.. cyan is firmware for lumias n it takes time to develope n fix errors by testing it on every device. also ther is carrier approvals region wise..
u telling like MS bought Nokia means they can force them to fast update.. its totaly wrong.. think by ur brain not by ur heart..
currently update is under carrier approval stage in which no one interfare not only Nokia even MS as well..

lumia cyan is nokia firmware of wp8.1... n its totally in nokia's n respective carries hand..
such things need time dude to implement n deliver to consumers..
preview is available from april.. which is MS duty n they provided..
cyan is not in control of MS..
same things r applies on android as well..
just try to understand facts..

Guys according to latest news/leaks,
1- VLC beta- according to vlc dev he is in final stage of development of VLC player for wp8.1 n they r launching VLC Beta(wp8.1) next week(early august) publicly..
all knws bad condition of xbox music app on wp8.1 so vlc dev also implementing xbox music option in vlc..
2- BBM also coming this week for all(publicly)...

Yes, in preview 8.1, it legs, but that too vary rare, and once official update congress with firmware, it ll not lag.. Firmware normally take the best out of hardware...
