Was on my first flight yesterday. While I switched off my 520 before takeoff and it remained switched off for the entire journey, shortly after landing it switched itself on automatically.
I don't know how it can happen as it is switched off.
I am sure it was switched off during the journey as I tried to check time now and then. I was cautious not to switch on since its my first flying experience.
Do anyone have any idea on why this happened? Is it a feature? It happened on both my journeys to and fro.

Great phone! Specs same as low class Android phone, but works more fast than it. Only one thing is bad - can't set MP3 as ringtone. But the phone is great, +++++

You can play Full HD videos on this display on Nokia 520 which no one in this segment does. Any high-end game would work on this easily. Add that if a display breaks, it is due to your fault and not Nokia's. Nokia batteries are also cheaper and readily available than other phones. What else would you want to service?

You cannot tell a phone brand is bad if only 1 phone faces this kind of issue. Nokia also gives a 1 year warranty that no other brand gives at its price, you can get your phone repaired for free if this happens when you purchase a Nokia phone and your phone is under warranty. Other brand phones are warranted for only 6 months or so.

You can also check for updates by going to Settings > Phone Update and tapping Check for updates. You can install the update immediately, or postpone the update to a more convenient time.
Make sure your phone has the required memory and enough charge for the update. Keep it in charging, no worries.
