[deleted post]Wait for official update from Nokia. Its coming vey soon. It ll come with firmware, so you might not face an issue of battery which is currently in preview, but still I didn't face major battery problem in preview though.

Is android gives this settings in settings?? No. There is only 2g and 3g bandwidth. If you select 3g than your phone catch 3g bandwidth. That's all. And by the way I live in rural areas of Gujarat and still got a good 3g network almost 95% time.
And if you have a 2g Plan and hope for 3g network than its possible on DoCoMo sim. Other provider blocks it. But still with 3g network you get just just slightly improved speed of 2g, not more than that.

There is still places with not even mobile coverage... Due 3G scam and Stupid Bandwidth regulations it's an Utopian thinking that 3G is available in every corner of India even When Koreans starts to using 5G. And again, in Android there is many apps available to lock the phone into 3G only and Android phone chooses 3G over 2G even when 3G signal is lower than 2G unlike Windows phone that chooses 3G only when 3G signal is equal or higher than 2G. Get your facts right

Yasin,i am completely agree with your comment. I am also uses 3g network. My phone is always on 3g and when I select 2g network it will turn on 2g. Yasin is the one of the expert.he also told me how to get win8.1 update. So please don't teach us about Lumia 520

So what are you talking about. In my area, I am getting as good network strength for 3g as 2g. Just select 3g, you are always on 3g. You ll get signal strength as your network provider capable of.
