Set Language to English US

Note: If you have other languages in Language then make sure that English US is activated. For that simply tap and hold on English US and choose Move Up and then it will ask for restart. After restart you will see Cortana.

    Friends I Am Using Nokia Lumia 520. The Concern Is It Only Suppourts UC Browser zAnd That Too Old Version 3.4 Or 3.1. As I Am,Using FB via Same Version , The Images Always Got Updated Or Uploaded Small Not Streching To The Screen. I Was Using A Version A Week Back Which Was More Effective But Somehow That Got Uninstalled. Could Anyone Help Me To Overcome This.

            Deep, 17 Apr 2014Hey, Its ringtone volume dependes upon the music volume.... moreyes when you upgrade your device with nokia cyan update or wp8.1 update..there are separately two setting one for media volume and one for ringtone ..you can get this update end of april or first week of may.

              AnonD-206491, 18 Apr 2014worst 8.1Haha..why you say that man..there are lots of cool features man...all apps can be stored at sd card..all videos and music to the external card..vpn available..start screen background..notification centre..if you change region..there is cortana..even iPhone Siri can't work offline but cortana works..still you think worst no way...dark white background is it boring...music player receving another update next week..all in all a promising stuff...

                    Guys 8.1 is awesome...now the video hub is open...just try this for 8.1...go to YouTube.com
                    Open the page of required video...now in the adress bar just b4 YouTube type"ss"...press enter..a page will open for asking for which resolution..click desired...and click save...the video will be saved in video hub..no need for any 3rd party apps..

                        Hey,

                        Its ringtone volume dependes upon the music volume.
                        When you low down your music while listening music then its ringtone sounds also low, and higher in case you high your music volume.
                        Any solution of this prob, because every time i have to adjust my music sound after stopping the music so that i can hear my ringtone.

                                after that, download Preview from store to ur phone,
                                Then sign up with same microsoft account
                                then tick enable for developers
                                then go to setting choose phone update and check, u will see window 8.1

So you were expecting OPERA MINI browser with wp8.1? dude its seriously lame. useless notification center? its good and similar to android but only thing is only 4 shortcuts unlike android. what do you think is missing/fault with notification center? Yes, no file manager that was a little disappointing. I have a friend who owns xperia E,she told me that after installing 20+ apps her phone slowed down, it takes 5 to 6 seconds to open contacts & to unlock her phone. every phone/os has its cons and pros! you're pointing only the negative's of wp8.1 not the good part!
