sk , 16 Apr 2014hey project my screen is avaiable for 520After updating to windows 8.1 iam facing one problem i.e before 8.1 update i can download apps and game upto 100 mb through mobile network but after updating to 8.1 iam not able to download apps and game greater than 20 mb.frinds plz help me how to overcome from this problem.because i dont have wi-fi facilities.do something i need to download apps and game upto 100 mb through mobile network not wi-fi.

Recently installed windows 8.1 on my Lumia 520. Its working great. No issues as of now. Volume control, action center, data sense, background image, xbox, task manager... everything is great. Really good update and very useful. Just waiting for the desktop application for connecting to PC, as of now "project my screen" option is not useable.
Few things which still needs to be improved
1) cellular data control needs to be added in action center.
2) Games are not consolidated in Game Center as before in Windows 8.
3) Some application like 'Here maps', 'Here Drive', 'Game Center', 'Music center' need to have transparent tiles for better view of background image.

mine got updated to 8.1 yesterday via developers preview app.:)) if you have a dev account, you can update your L520 to 8.1 without waiting for official release. My 520's response and overall function is much better in 8.1 than before.

There are many customisation like android, u can see Music and videos in seperated. Equalizer in music. Increased live tile rows. U can set a wallpapers. U can move games and apps to SD card and more. Sorry for my bad English.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2014Can we update our phone to windows 8.1 through 3G only.In my opinion use wifi for update because 8.1 preview update 400 mb. Follow some rules before download 8.1 update:-
1. Phone battery should be charge more than 90%
2. Use wifi for fast internet because 3g use more
battery power.
3. Or wait till june last week for official 8.1
update. After that u can go to Nokia care.
Warning:- In 3g battery drain fast so avoid update because update is huge 400mb and official update will be nearly 500 mb.
