I have a L520. I bougt it 2 weeks ago. It works very good. I don't have problem with my phone. :) Is red.:)

2- about whatsapp..yes whatsapp has such kind of problem.. n whatsapp devs working hard to fix these problems n they r preparing big update from last two months...
3- try to turn off battery saver..
after wp8.1 update all problems regarding push notifications get resolve.

android and ios both started devloping in 2005 and WP started devloping in 2008. so it need atleast 1 more year to fully compete with them. and seems like it is doing well with 8.1

Only skype isn't, how to enable it too? I also turn off batery saver, and also have the same thing. Before Black update, i didn't have problems with viber&WA, actually didn't have any problems with this great phone.
p.s. whatsapp sent me a message when i'm closing it "Whatsapp has detected an issue with your device's Push Notification system. Please reboot your phone."

about nokia x apps.. they are already a readymade apps in google playstore.. nokia only telling devs to move copy of ther app apks from playstore to x store officialy..
devs almost no need to make any new app for x famelly..
on wp8 devs need to write whole program in new C# language.. it takes too much time.. coz its new for devs..

AnonD-100814, 26 Feb 2014Yes dude.. every user bought device for all features.. but... moreYes,all I wish that what all things I want wish I get in windows phone 8.1,other wise pack of from nokia Lumia and switch to atleast NOKIA XL(forked,cheap handset)...i feel more dissappoint that windows 8 phone is almost one year old,and still we dont have Opera,while those Nokia cheap x series has Opera and all that(because of android os),and not only Opera but many more.....i know the clear fact and reason behind all this game hope windows phone if not possible to defeat android but atleast stand with android and not behind....my wish that dev also give equall importance to us also just like they are giving equall and prime importance to iOS and android at same time:)

Hi, i have some problems with viber, skype and whatsapp on my Lumia 520. After Black update, i don't get notifications of new messages when apps are closed. I went to settings, and all features are enabled. Does anyone have the same problems, and how to fix it?! Thank you!

but another straight point is that wp platform need some more time to grow n we can not denies it..
at ios n android grow time they dont had any tough competitor coz ios targeted only higher end segment under d world of steve jobs.. n android targets almosts all segments so ios was not big thread for android at that time n developers made apps for them more prominently..
so android grows too much vastly..
app developers wants huge consumer base of any platform..
wp platform needs that type of base n ms is trying to achieve this.
ms start with restrictions n now they understand android is in front of them. so now they removing some restrictions n also two days ago they make partenership with more oems n also enables the lower hardware supports.
oems like nokia, sony, htc, lenovo(motorola), foxconn, zte, micromax, lava(xolo), LG, Gionee, karbonn, huawei, samsung n more.. n almost every1 of above working on wp8.1 devices..
so it helps to much to grow user base after wp8.1 launch..
so developers then get attention on wp app store..
only 1 thing to say that its whole game of time..

U cannot watch lengthy videos as it doesnt support does any knows which has to download, Battery really sucks it cannot last even for entire day that too without using internet... Video quality is owesome cannot compare to another phone other then Nokia...
most of the app are not available. Video cannot stop and play when u stop it gets saved. phone get heated even u surf online for 5 min. its really very difficult can anyone suggest what to do. whenever I have taken this phone to service center those bloody f....r do only one thing reset and give it back.. plz help what to do..

Airtel is the best service provider,because 3g speed is around 700to1000KB/ps.
believe me i am using it for more than 3months and till days no complain ,out standing performance of airtel ,i salute u.

AnonD-100814, 25 Feb 2014U r right in few points.. but its about fluid n less sluggi... moreYes,android is not our(Indians) creation,but I had seen that many teaching institute are now a days providing educations to build an android app ,the thing is (according to me only) android gain such a huge market share is it give more space to dev to build the app,heir in android sky is the limit...so they are gaining popularity very fast,in windows8 their is limited tools available so they cant provide that type of app which android provides....i also dont faver any platform,,,,if u suggest me some java phone with many app and game,lots of customisation than I will love and prefer that too...my want is not platform but inbuild features and app thats it
