I've been using it for more than two years, and I didn't care about Android or IPhone but Nokia not even some Microsoft's windows phone os.
From the beginning I was dissatisfied by the operating system and its limitations. Nokia somehow managed because it has its own maps, music station, amazing applications especially camera apps.
I should focus on cellphone rather than the operating system.
The hardware is always the best because its nokia. Never broke even it fell down many times never broke up even my friend's Motorola which has gorilla glass but it doesn't. I think its better to use a screen guard.
Back panel is cool although two switches are broken (lock and volume down), it still works because of the double tap and an app from the store.
Ram is 512mb! Wasn't bad in that times and still is great, I play halo 3, Sims 4, asphalt 5, angry birds, more than 60 apps installed once on a class 4 memory card.
Works fine. No lagging just a little slow like to open multi-windows.
Processor is great, isn't great comparing to today's cellphones, just 1ghz dual core snapdragon. I can't see the necessity of more cores.
Camera was best in class when I bought it, 720pHD videos automatically gets uploaded to SkyDrive(now OneDrive). I don't think there's any better camera with 5mp is available on the market, unless its a Nokia. Sometimes, I feel bad it doesn't have a secondary to do Skype calls, but fine. I use it kinda 24x7 cause if you're a Sims lover, or age of empire.
Noise reduction technology, exclusive lens, beautiful design, air touch like screen, nice battery back up and a brand from Nokia let's you feel a prestigious cellphone without any hassle.

Nokia was synced with bluetooth in the car. all my facebook friends went into people contacts and now I cannot get it to except phone numbers. So now I have all my friends visually but no contact numbers I realise if I delete them from the Nokia phone then they also get deleted from source. Can anyone help?

Nilin, 21 May 2015How can I install technical preview in Lumia 520 Open insider.Windows.com and click on get started and login using Microsoft account.....next download the windows insider app and follow the instructions, when the whole process is complete choose get preview builds and enable fast thing option.....next check for updates and you will find that an update is available
