hey guys, im using NSU 3.08, but it is showing the same firmware version as installed on the phone, which is something like 1030....
How do i get Amber update on it, i dont wanna go to nokia care

I updated my Lumia 520, it discharged the whole battery in 5 hours, and i was not even using it. and now my messages is not working!
i can receive text but not read it in the thread, and i can send the text and cannot see it in the thread! is there any way i can fix this issue?

diplomats zw, 20 Sep 2013is Lumia 520 a good fone to buy It is very good phone. Even though mine had a problem with mic but after getting it serviced it has crystal clear sound. A very good battery life about 13-14 hrs under normal usage and a very good camera. No other phone has camera better than this one within this price range. It has great outdoor visibility. This phone is worth its price.

I did update to Lumia Amber on Sep 9, 2013, the problem was gone, on Sep 19, 2013 I did reset phone from Setrings, about. Today it restarts itself again.

After restarting it get normal again. Yesterday I experienced restarting 4 times without any reason. Mine is old version but i thought it will be corrected with Amber update but from ur post its clear that the problem still exist even after amber update. Hopeless..

The same problem was coming again. The apps (Internet Explorer, Nokia Xpress, Settings, WhatsApp, HERE maps, etc) I touched them many times they didn't want to execute. Several minutes after, my Lumia restarted itself automatically. Lumia Amber firmware is still has the same problem like I experienced before. If you would like to buy this Lumia 520, think twice. Other user may be doesn't experience it, but I experienced this problem (seems bug of software).

diplomats zw, 20 Sep 2013is Lumia 520 a good fone to buy Of course, it is affordable, has good hardware compared to low end Android, the system only is restricted, miss many functions, but overall is very good. Updat it to Lumia Amber, it will be better.
