how to set a ringtone from the memory card. Lumia 520 shows only default ringtones from nokia and windows alone?
And why there is no separate volume settings for Media, ringtone, alarm?

The Hotmail has "download as arrive" in sync settings, Gmail only has "download every 2 hours" in sync setting.

2. It can't. Can't delete manual other files and no system delete automically. The temporary files only can become very low.
Say, you have App Highlights, Alarm, Bomberman vs Zombie, Facebook, Twitter, HERE maps, WeChat, WhatsApp, Cinemograph, Calculator, Creative Studio, Data Sense, Dictionary.com, Settings, Messaging, Phone, etc.

Multiple attachment sending email yes, but should include image files. For first attachment is .doc, second is images, it can. If your attachment consist of 2 documents or 1 document and 1 other files (mp3, zip, etc), can't be done. Volume is still the same both of media and ringtone and orientation can't be stopped, can't change to always portrait or landscape.
