- also great news is according to techies ths is great deal (ms+nokia) for consumers. now here ms buy nokia means now nokia doesnt need to pay lot money to ms for adoptation n for other thngs.. so according to techies ms reduces price tag of made under ms.. i.e. INR 15k device to 7-8k.. Means to capture market share ms do everythng like reduce price tags.. but other oems cant reduce price tags coz they still want to pay ms for os..
- if ms not buy nokia then any other company definetly buys nokia.. u cant change ths truth.. coz nokia want huge financial support for ther quality n innovations.. n ms has huge money provide to nokia..
- also news is ms also trying to buy blackberry also.. now u decide what u said ms+nokia+blackberry= The biggest Gaint ever
conclusion- ths deal is best for mainly consumers.

dude every1 knws after 2007 nokia market share gradualy goes down till d situation of death of nokia.. at that time elop gets ceo position n made deal with ms for wp os coz android still hav crowded market in d world n with android to gaints i.e. samsung, htc, sony n also lots of other oems... then what is chance to get huge market share with android..? nokia gets lot of years to beat ths already present gaints.. also famous oems htc n sony trying ther best still they loosing ther market share day by day in android market.. so what is chance of nokia to gain huge market share?
so say thanx to elop who adopt wp os, creates new ecosystem for users n makes lumia series famous n raise nokia market little bit than previous with symbian..
here for adopting nokia by ms coz nokia proves to ms what they can do..
even blackberry n htc also trying to sell themselve..
then try to understand its a good n best deal in world now.. ms+nokia=Gaint

You need wifi for update. Via PC, install Windows App to Desktop (your PC should running on Windows 7 or 8), connect your Lumia to your PC, it will recognise the update is available or not.

Although it seems that Microsoft has beaten BlackBerry in the battle for third place in the global smartphone market, the company may not be too thrilled with the prize that it’s won. The latest projections from research firm IDC predict that Windows Phone won’t reach a double-digit share of the global smartphone market until 2017, when it will account for 10.2% of all smartphones shipped. IDC projects that iOS will increase its market share slightly between now and 2017, when it will account for just under 17.9% of all smartphones. IDC also sees Android remaining the dominant mobile OS in 2017, although its market share is projected to slip from 75.3% in 2013 to 68.3% in 2017.

you can't play mkv videos neither subtitles in this crap i heard that it wouldn't download above 50 mb by 2g network no task manager no file manager temple run and angry birds are free in play store while in windows store u have to buy if we talk about browsers only int. explore Nokia smart browser while in android dolphin browser chrome browser mozilla firefox next browser and opera mini none of these are not available in windows store and don't hope for Google service because the cold war has been started between Microsoft and Google people always talking about android is very laggy os but my galaxy y a low end phone working very well without any type of lag Nokia always think design is important than os and features.........they are fools it is just like having an chinese iphone in hand which looks same like original but there is nothing to do.........if there are limitation like windows phone in windows operating system I'm sure everybody Will discard this os.............windows phones are for the peoples who use their phones 1hour in whole day.............. ..i love design hardware of 520 but i can't sacrifice android only for design hardware...........

My statement was clear when I said that EVERYONE CAN GOOGLE " LUMIA SPEAKER NOT WORKING" or " LUMIA SOUND NOT WORKING " there are millions facing the same problem .... Looking forward towards nokia to solve this problem...

All those planning to buy this phone be aware - I'm using it for 4months now and the speaker stopped working... You can google " lumia speaker not working " and you will see that all lumia phones have this problem and there is no solution. Whatever I do hard or soft reset, I can't hear incoming calls , I can't hear alarms....
Taken it to the nokia service center as well and the same speaker problem still persists. Still can't hear anything on loud speaker
