Friends Samsung and micromax company use the meditake cheapset , processors and Mali GPU which are very cheap in price(not good for smartphones) but very bad quality in their smartphones. That's why their smartphones hangs a lot of and therefore it's price is low and decreases. BUT NOKIA use the Qualcomm snapdragon cheapsets and processors, And Adreno GPU In their smartphones which are very good for fast processing, fast internet and playing HD games !
If you want low price smartphones then go for Samsung and micromax , if you want built quality then go for Lumia series
Lumia series is known for Fast processing, fast internet browsing, good camera quality And playing HD games without any lag. I'm using Lumia 525 from one year and I played asphalt 7, asphalt 8 both on my Lumia 525 ( windows phone8.1) smoothly so GO For LUMIA SERIES and important thing is Windows Phone 10 will destroy android and Apple with Lumia 940 (3 gb ram), Lumia 1030 (4 gb ram) this phone will release in April (not sure)
AND All WINDOWS PHONE 8 AND 8.1 WILL SUPPORT WP 10 UNTIL THE END OF THIS YEAR!! Go FOR LUMIA SERIES!

kikmik, 29 Jan 2015just bought a lumia 520. problems: cant read memory card, s... moreFB and WhatsApp work perfectly fine on a 520. Yours might need to be updated (look in Phone Updates under settings). Make sure it's fully charged first.

I've never heard of fake L520s. But it could certainly be faulty.

Check this press volume rockers up or down you will get volume settings, now touch arrow symbol on the screen you'll get two options one for call and other for media, adjust them accordingly

Justin, 28 Jan 2015Hey, dude im planing 2 buy lumia 520 bt i've also another c... moredont go for lumia 520 or 530 just go for lumia 525 best than both of them because 530 have only 4 gb internal and takes only 480 and 525 will take 720 and 525 have accelerometer and proximity sensor 530 have only accelerometer sensor and the most imp thing is that 525 have 1 GB of ram. I have 520 i got it before 6 months but now i want 525 so dont do the mistake like me please go for 520........

I'm having an issue with the music player on this phone, which takes over when the music is playing, meening that the calls, alarm, notifications become silent. I lost a lot of calls that way, because they only show up on the screen and the sound is off. So far I haven't found the settings to change this, could anyone help?

horrible choice for me. No cell service at home and can't forward calls to the house like my simple to use old phone. Personalizing screen does not work. Battery always going dead.

Impossible to use, especially after few months.
Windows 8.1 update created even more issues.
Obviously 8.1 does not run well on low end hardware.
I regret updating it because now there is almost no way to go back to 8.0

Microsoft:
Please release more stable low end phones that work without crushes and frozen pages.

LUMIA 1520 of course does not have any of the crush
Issues and freez issues but many people buy cheap contract free Lumia phones like 520 and will have a bad reputation about windows phone after using 520

sorry dude... It showing "downloading language..." Now i selected the English (UK) this language only automatically downloaded.. Whenever i click that indian language showing your language downlodaed... May be its anything mobile issue ah.... how to clear that pls help me...
