Heating up within minutes when using internet and gaming. Battery life is poor hardly 3 hours with internet. Camara picture quality is poor but video quality is good. Its hard to find a quality game and app. Free apps are abandoned with Ads... Downloading files are not working. Cant play most of the video files, No separate volume controls , home screen navigation speed is impressive but opening and switching to anther app takes lot of time. Facebook is extremely slow even with high speed WiFi connection
good things are clear sound, super sensitive touch screen. Good looks
i will not recommend to any one

hey guys my phone stolen from my home and i just used for a 2mnth and that was my first smartphone and i am realy upset,plz plz anyone sugest me a good idea to track or block my phone plz plz plz my nokia l520

can anyone tell me.. in my lumia 520. if i reduce media volume.. ring volume is also get reduced. is there any solution for this...

Actually this is the best phone within sub 9.5k range.
OS is very smooth and touch sensitivity is awesome.
Looks of phone are also very nice.
Only worry is that we won't get as many apps as in android, but one can understand as its a new entrant in the OS market and it will take some time to get in the groove of things.
Sound quality is very Good, both Call and music quality.
Camera quality is also very Good even though it doesn't have a flash.
Battery backup and standby time are also pretty Good compared to droid phones.
It can play full HD videos without any lagg.
Games like assasin's creed and asphalt 7 run very smooth.
It gets heated up a little when playing games.
Overall a very Good phone for 9.5k..
Definately better than android phones :-D

Well i just bought this device last night and i must says that this phone is freaking awesome. It doesnt feel cheap at all. The built quality is great, the UI WP8 is smooth all the way regarding that it only had 512 mb of ram. Im happy with this lumia 520.

The OS is useless u cant rename & see the details of mp3,jpg files cant dwnld mp3 from websites battary is useless it heats up terribly hangs while playing temple run.sound quality faltu sometime volume control does not work.
camara is so good display is awesome touch is supurb ms office is good loudspeaker is very good music store is good, here map is good, home screen looks beautiful.
over all I love my Lumia.
but I think android is more user friendly.
choose what u want.
