RB...., 08 Aug 2013Hey Buddy.......I think u are using skype in lumia 520........ moreAfter minimizing it won't show online status... I didn't really know the reason... But i think In windows phone 8 when minimizing an app it goes to a Hibernate state... When it comes to foreground, its just like waking up from Hibernate state... It happens with every apps... Page refreshing occurs for browsers. Typed text vanishes for office app. Exiting from current chat thread in WeChat, WhatsApp etc... Its really a problem facing by windows phone users..

anyapp which hv proper notification like whatsapp,hike,we chat,notification of these app work fine but fb not works

Just check after minimising skype are you able to get calls or are you showing online smwhere.....

Give us a apps like vine, Instagram, fb chat and live clock. Most people will be happy who are complaining in the app dept.
New update WP 8.1 should be able to provide a notification center and more customization option in home screen.

No one shouting for a 8 megapixel camera or super amold display... They are just asking for some basic features that are really necessary in a smartphone...
just check out Samsung S2 or Sony xperia j or some other phones page... 95% People complaining about its hardware limitations or problems but in Lumia pages 99% people complaining about OS restrictions and missing basic features... Offcourse this is first smartphone many people (not mine)... They are a bit confused only coz they find some missing features even they can find in their old S40 or Bada os phones... Its not their fault its fault from Microsoft's side... they have any excuses for missing a basic feature like Rotation lock?? Its a basic thing that every smartphone need... But its missing even with new gdr2 update. There is no fix for this silly problem till now... So please stop insulting users if they are first smartphone users or not they know what's their needs... And it's Microsoft's responsibility to deliver most required basic features to users. If they failed It means end of a most loved brand Nokia...

Awesome phone,love the live tiles and the big size of this phone.It looks,bigger than Galaxy s3 mini and the rest.Also in love with its rectangular sides,it looks very much like Galaxy s2.In short,all those of you commenting negative about this phone probably are first time smartphone users and are a bit confused.gsmarena even rates the design and performance of this phone higher than Galaxy s4.Check for yourself.

ephraim, 07 Aug 2013how do i send or receive music via bluetoothBefore you can share music via Bluetooth, switch on your Bluetooth first, then goto the music you want to send and press and hold it, you will see options then choose share and you will see Bluetooth there. Simple

I wanna put a 32GB memory card into my lumia 520. Can anyone tell whether this device supports class 10 based micro sdhc/sdxc cards or not. I was planning to go for the strontium 32GB(class 10)micro SDHC card. Even in official site of nokia they wrote external memory support type is only micro SD cards but haven't mentioned explicitly whether it supports micro SDHC and SDXC cards or not. Please help me... :(

Pdf files can not be attached in mail nor seen in pc while connecting with mobile,hiw to share pdf file,other than Bluetooth?
