1 week of usage review :
“Best in the price range” don’t expect much .
Pros and cons (mostly cons)
Screen rotation takes time .
Battery life not good , have to charge twice a day (more than average user).
Back of the phone gets heated up upon playing high graphic games(turbo racing league).
Viewing angles are not as bad as they say.
Some time volume is set at a certain level and u cant control until u restart (happened twice in a week).
Had to restart 3 times because the tiles were not responding for touch.
Volume control for both media and ringtone is same (if u change one other will also change).
Apps and game are decent enough.
camera is good.

AnonD-100814, 31 Jul 2013Dude Gionee is best phone which is fully recomended.. Dude most of the Micromax phones are rebranded Gionee phones. Example Canvas 2. Their quality is superb. My friends phone twice fall in concrete floor but nothing happened except a little scratch. But my friends lumia once fall in floor and broken the display. And that 9600 Rupees phone features Super Amold display with Gorilla glass, 8 megapixel autofocus camara etc. , and every accessories flip cover screen guard etc are within in the pack. My friend have white color one, And the funniest thing is everyone think that it is a galaxy note. Coz Very similar to galaxy note and no brand name in phones front side... It also have service center in our city. Best for non brand conscious people.

can android dump software give nokia music like software,here maps those u can use in ofline mode,city lens like software,smartshoot,nokiacam nd many more.....
hater will hate nd potatoes will potate

if you are a youth or geek i never recommend this phone to you..
if you are a game and social networking adict then go for android. I recommend micromax coz they have better service network than carbon. In my area. There is only one Nokia care in 20 km distance but Micromax have 2.

Yesterday i played Temple Run in my friend's mobile a Chinese brand Gionee Gpad G1 running on ICS... Dual core cortex A9, 512 MB , 5 inch display, unbranded GPU. Same price of lumia 520, But the game is so smooth and no lags. And tried Temple Run 2 also. That too smooth and no lagging. I was wondering why it's better than my adreno 305 Lumia520.
and answer is here... Why windows phone 8 game performance is poor compared to relatively low hardware android devices.
coz android uses OpenGL graphics and drivers while windows phone 8 uses DirectX 11 graphics and drivers... OpenGL is much superior and faster than DirectX technology and have better future.
this phone got an impressive adreno 305 graphics but no matter it can't beat a adreno 203 android phone in game play. Coz of poor driver support.

Hi all, i can't seem to download anything from the store. The app. downloads and fails to install, gives 'cant connect to Microsoft store at the moment' error. And is anyone able to use fb chat from the message section,directly?? And i,tried changing date time and soft reset.

Some countries restricted call recorder..app maker can produce call recorder and call blocker..but MS security is above of our thing...app makers cant crash the securty...hope one day app makers engineer can crash the security!!!!
