My review after one month use
Simply Its a good looking crap...
I just tired of this phone...
multitasking sucks, everything keep refreshing when app switching background to foreground... Happens with UC browser to Office word , if you are not saved your work when switching back you will see all your typed matter gone... You can't continue from where you left... It get refreshed. every data gone for ever
All social apps sucks. Lot off missing features and errors... Cant send video, audio files. Cant save recived filed.. Notifications not getting on time. Always delayed and showing multiple times.
Browser sucks. UC always shows out of memory error and hangs. IE not supporting uploading even pictures to most sites. And no media downloading. And closing IE is really difficult
Gallery items getting duplicates. Always increasing other storage
Although I am not a game freek but tried temple run. But it's also buggy existing automatically while playing. Tried angry birds too. XBox games are Good but paid.
And besides all these problems my phone keeps restarting sometimes without any reason.
Conclusion. Its a good phone for call and messaging, taking pictures,listening music,watching videos and showoff with it's vibrant colors , unique and smooth interface. But its Not really a smartphone. need a lot improvement to call it as a smartphone. Specially that multitasking thing and social networking need a lot of improvement. And the other storage and restarting problem too

Same happens with Facebook... You can't send pictures via message. Can't use picture comments, posting picture to friends wall etc... And push notifications are always late or never come... And some time the entire phone hangs with WhatsApp... You may need to remove battery...

dates?GDR2 is just minor update... But but in Nokia phones it delayed more than 3 months... And still there is no clarification in accurate releasing date...
8.1 is a major update... So we can't predict its release time. Even there is no rumors about it... May be in middle of 2014... Just wait and see...
Only some Linux distributions have accurate update cycle... Like Ubuntu with every six month update...

Nokia Lumia 520 has dual core but non branded...other windows 8 nokia phones have branded krait dual core...thats why hardware restiction coming..for this glance feature may not come in l520..lets see MS ..what will they produce..surely best effort they will give..
