I have problem couple days ago that notification for app update not coming to me before if any installed app. has an update i can see it at store icon but now nothing happened .... any solution.

I tested one at the Nokia Store. The phone is really responsive and the build quality is good. I tried browsing and Internet Explorer really did it's job well. Page loads quickly and scrolling is smooth. The only thing I didn't like about the OS is that there is no notification bar to quickly turn the WiFi, Bluetooth and data on or off. There's also no option to quickly end a background process. You need to first open the app to close it. But those will be available in the next update.
Over all, this phone is really worth your money. I experienced some heat while using the device but it's something tolerable. It's the heat coming from the processors and gpu which is normal for devices like this. The camera is also clear. Nothing bad to say about the device. It has no lags in the interface and the design is unique.

Well after receiving my phone after 18 days from nokia care wtf my problem of heating is totally solved
I WILL NOT WRITE A BIASED REVIEW
now after using it for 1 month I should tell that firstly this phone feels very premium in hands thats most of the Chinese manufacturers dosent have that...note that I came from a low end Symbian phone
PROS
1) hardware build quality is nice from a phone of this price it feels very premium
2)soc chipset it qualcomm msm 8227 with 1ghz dual core krait with adreno 305 gpu the gpu in this phone is very capable and its not available in any means any phone in this price range
3) plays 1080p videos very efficiently
4)absoutely good screen in terms of xolours also in terms of responsives nokia has hit the nail with this one
5)absoulately excellent ui ofcourse it takes a bit time to learn it but after you learne it you will definately love it
6)doesnt laga and hangs and after installing lots of apps and games the phone still performes good
7)nokia exclusive apps they worth it
now CONS
1)everythings in windows phone takes long procedure like string ringtones etc etc now dont tell me I can download any app like ringtone maker why I have to download any app for basic functions
2)there is no good video player app in store that can take any format if there is one it is paid...
3)no backlit windows keys(though we get used to it)
4)512 MB ram though its enough for is but very lastest games use one gb ram developers are not understanding the situation now as wp8 owners with 512 MB ram are more they should make goods games also for these device
anyways thats problem with developers but it shows no good graphics. Games will be available in the future for 512 MB ram devices thats kinda very bad fragmentation and I hate it a lot ....
all in all I m very very happy with my Lumia 520 I will recomend it to every one....

I'm using this phone. Phone is awesome no need any zune softwar when u connect ur phone to pc. But u have window 7. Pros:-1.Phone is awesome.
2. 4inch Ips display.
3.Bluetooth working for every phone
4.Os is good but not as good as android.
5.Uc browser and internet xplorer is good but missing my opera mini and opera mobile.
6.Good for social networking.
7. Camera 5mp good.
8. For good battery, brightness should be low, switch off ur data when ur not using 2g, wifi, location off after that it will give 35-40hrs backup easily.
9. offline maps good.
10. Viber and whatsapp working fine. And also i got update :)
Cons:-
1. Micro sim. My aircel network don't have any micro sim. When i contact nokia care they said to me don't use cut sim if pin damage warranty will be over. But i have no choice finally i cut the sim at store.
2.Memory increasing. No option to clear data of maps, facebook, gamez. Microsoft should think about this.
I hope amber update will be good features after that 8.1 blue is coming in 2014.
This is budget phone u can't expect all thing from a big brand. If u don't have issue with window8 os then go for it. Best choice. Waiting for amber update :)

Dear all crap android is lovers pls pls font blame wp is ill promise u wp will rule all is in neat future my l520 never hanged but u know mu bros s4 was hanged n restarted while playing temple oz all crap fridge tv makers are now top brands lol wp will not allow background. Apps but in android every time u shud kill craps I dont know why users argue ant apps in Android. 95% useless crap fake apps whereas in windows each apps has its speciality I've tried in several benchmark apps my Lumia is 1 one of top phone in cpu gpu n memory I've tested ill rate it 5.0 out of 5 u can check in phonemark app available on store for free heating is bo mt an issue as the processor is dual core which runs brilliantly there's no fans as in cpus so heating is common who want crap insecure file manager which is useful for hackers n fm is available in next gdr2 update disply ppi n brigtness is brilliant I've compared with s4 no doubt go ahed with dis phone ull charm sorry for bad eng for any quiris ask me on my.
