I am a big fan of ... more1. You knew that before buying..or you didn't do your homework. If SD card is important you should have bought another phone with one.
2. Why didn't you buy Symbian then? BTW, Symbian is dead.
3. Different OS...different architecture.

6. Do you have a phone that you can recommend at the same price with better camera? Or pay more and get a Galaxy S4.

I have been using WP (7&8) for the last 2 years and never felt a need for a file manager. But I am Indian living in US. I am curious why a lot of Indians are complaining about file manager. Could someone please explain how you intend to use it?

it just switches off out of no where and you've to open the battery and put it back in to open the cell phone

Play a song, then go to whichever song you want and you will see add option. You can then come back to player and save the playlist if you want to.
As said many times, insecure things like file manager are not allowed. It looks like you have a defective phone!

I am a big fan of ... more1. what do you mean by sd card option is missing? In WP, apps manage files. So you need the relavant apps. For e.g PDF reader(third party not Microsoft one). There is also an app called Kirik search which can show files on sd card.
2. Has Symbian got any third party apps for instagram, snapchat, Pandora? Symbian was great, but it was a different generation.
3. You need not close a program because it does not run in background unless you choose to run a background agent, which can be closed. WP does not allow unnecessary things.
4. It is not useless. Even if it is, whats the problem?
5. You can change it, and anyways this is a smartphone not some toyphone to keep changing themes
6. Agreed. Since its a 10k phone and gives all other hardware features, its ok if they cut in one place.

There are apps like Storage Cleaner and Shrink Storage that can be used for cleaning other files, but I think they don't help much, I had tried Storage Cleaner, it free some MBs, not much. About videos I don't know.

I am a big fan of ... moreI use Lumia 520 too. First, yes, can't read files directly on microSD is disappoint. For apps, I find WhatsApp, Line, Skype, work fine. About close program, yes, O think the same, but Android sometimes does the same too (close Chrome uses back button, close native browser Gingerbread version uses back again and again). For Search button maybe, it makes to open Bing Search directly I think. Can't change icon and themes that will depend on the user preference. When I still used Android I didn't change the icon menu, for change themes, I did seldom. Last, camera, I agree, the camera result seems little yellow.
Overall I still like Lumia 520, although it lacks for some features, I should proud of Lumia 520 because I purchased it myself.

I want to buy these phone.but many of them complaint that these phone has nofilemanager.how will remove unwanted files from phone.........? And another complaint is videos from phone not able to transfer to pc.Is it true.......? Users pls clear my doubts.thanks in advance.....

Watsapp and We chat messages dont load in backgorund... they giv false message alerts for messages which have already been seen.... thats silly.... i hope you agree..

let me know if you have gotten a file manager for free...
tell me which music player are you using ... go to settings menu and tell me how many customization options u get....can you control the sound setting
...trebble..bass etc......
It seems nokia has sent you a special phone...:)
