well, i owned a motorola defy for 2 years. i used it with custom firmwares upto jellybean. i always thought android to be a very powerful platform. it was so versatile. so when i thought of getting a new phone, my choices were Xolo q 800 and the lumia 520. i went for the lumia, and i do not regret. windows phones may have their drawbacks, but they get the basics almost perfect. anyone out there who is still confused, well, try the lumia. android is good at the high ends of functionality. but for staying connected, there is hardly anyone better than this

But we Have no other choices.. :( It some times shows memory buffering specially when using Facebook and sometimes closes in Middle, no background downloading... But still we had no better choices...

and missing some basic functions
auto rotation on/off
forward option for messages... Copy/ paste functionality in message area
a clip board
No way to sort pictures into different categories folders
video files from Bluetooth get saved in pictures hub no ways to move it to video hub without using a pc
etc
very little things but it's absence irritating so much...
eagerly waiting for amber update... Lack of app's not going to be fix soon... But i wish these problems get fixed with new update...

Nokia camera quality is good also micromax hardware problems is more problems arrises in warranty period. Also micronax service is very slow.

Confused between this and Xolo Q800... :(
What is better...Android seems comfortable to me but Brand name and quality matters me...and no android in this range is capable to stand against Lumia 520.I see Android losing :(
Also...can someone please upload some Camera Samples-in broad daylight,macro shots and evening shots...i mean some low light shots.TIA

hell with android and samsung. after using windows i get to know what a real os is. fluis, never hang,fast enough, never slow down. android only drains battery as well as mobile. it kills everything and one day each of you will know.

The reason why he can play TR2 is because it is available for him, not for you. This does not mean your phone cannot run it. I did not talk about brand value or durability or even service. Even without them, Lumia wins. Reason is security and efficiency of WP os.

I purchased a Lumia 520 mobile two days back. Today (july/02) it was hanged twice after doing the following operations.
a) I sent 11 photos via Bluetooth to my friend mobile
b) Made bluetooth OFF while making connection to another mobile BT. After that, I called my friend, then when I end the call, It got hanged
For both the incidents, I had to remove the battery and insert to start the device. Please assist!
