For apps, no many apps that available for Windows Phone 8 compared to Android. Some apps like Line, WhatsApp, Skype, are compatible well for Lumia 520.

Files it does not consume extra memory. If u don't want to see them then connect to pc and format memory card then re add songs

There is no option for download to SD Card like mp3 & videos. Its really foolish decision. How to move to SD Card. Lot of procedure for videos moved to sd Card. Its not user friendly. Microsoft said 'your videos illegal'. Pc also not showing downloaded videos.

wifi is only required for downloading apps exceeding file size 50mb
