We know why nokia is better than other brand.. If you dont like nokia, why you waste your time here.. Yes Nokia has some drawbacks, but they tried hard to solve them..

It worked for me, I hope will work with you also.

AnonD-156266, 22 Jun 2013I just bought Nokia Lumia 520 yesterday.But,I encounter som... more1- when you make any call u should have end call option, mute, loud speaker and screen go black due to cut the pass of sensor so if want to do another task just use loud speaker and windows button to navigate to another app.
2- you need internet connection even u download apps. Manually to verify that apps. Are available to yr phone ,country.
3- I think the problem that u use yr old SD card " that happen with me" so make backup of yr files than format SD card from yr phone and yr mobile not seen as locked.
note: apps. Download manually then sent to SD card not seen at SD option until restart yr phone and remove transfer cable.

@ vishal go to nokia care n ask for a software update! It'll take care of the hanging and heating issue if it occurs

Yesterday bought Lumia 520..its an awesome mobile ,but it got hanged two times when i played a mp3 song in the music player

1.Off ur network data if ur not using net.
2.Off ur location (Gps) if ur not using.
3. If ur using phone in night then brightness should be low.
4. But mostly i'm using medium brightness.
5. Never on wifi when ur charging ur phone.
6. Use back cover and screen guard for protection.

I just bought Nokia Lumia 520 yesterday.But,I encounter some problems.As I was a feature phone user,It is quite difficult to adjust with windows OS soon.
So,plz frndz help me.
1>When I start a call,it is just awesome.But,I can not stop it.I mean I can not stop/cancel my outgoing can until the other side(to whom I called) stopped the call.screen is black duo to it's proximity sensor during call.So, I do not know How can I able to manage other several options during a call.
2>I downloaded some apps and games from WP store manually in my computer.Then I took it in my SD card.But,I can not see it from "store" app.When I go to "store" app,there are 3 options.the 3rd option is "SD CARD".when I click it,it shows -"we can't connect to the store at the moment.check your data connection or try again later." Though,I can not understand,why I need to connect with Internet to access SD CARD apps!!
3>When I connect my phone with Windows 7 PC through "Windows phone for desktop" app,it shows that my device is locked.and the massage is-"Unlock your device to see what is in your phone".though my phone was not locked or there is no lock PIN.But,When I remove my SD card,it works perfectly.
