this model is overall good, the only setbacks for me are: first, the actual talk- and standby times are not like what it promises - not at least in my own experience with this phone. secondly, it only has one camera which is at the back of the unit so when I try to do a selfie (which is rarely), it's such a struggle even with a stick. for it's price, you get what you pay for.

It's not meant to be compared with in today's time. But even at 512 mb RAM it will work smooth compared to any android phone in its league.
Windows doesn't need hefty hardware to work. Even simple hardware will be enough for Windows to run butter smooth.
It has expandable storage slot.

Nokia Lumia 520 is the worst phone what I ever seen. Company is earning by lock phones and when you want unlock, you should pay for that. If I know that before, I never buy this phone from my "friend".
