All files are automatically managed by the phone. Any file that does not mean anything will not be accepted. You cannot download and sync/share videos as they cannot be checked for copyright. Nimbuzz is third party.

deb, 01 Jun 2013Posting this from Lumia 520.the screen,camera,browser,and C... moreDude u & all pple here who dont know where is file manager need to do a little hard work,one guy had mention earlier in dis forums dat there is a file manager u can copy,paste,move,mark,delete,view,watch n so on.If u dont find file manager there dan my tips is there is still another options dat u can browse da files & folder bt u can only view n watch but cant do other task like move,delete,copy,paste etc.but i cant tell u dat u hv to do of ur own,just do a little hard work write,if u still dont find dat 2nd options dan download 3rd party file manager apps.

Hi All,
To all Lumia 520 users..there was os related issue in wp8 called "other folder".
In settings under phone storage u can see other folder which holds more space of ur phone memory...all the browser cache, apps cache etc is stored here and there is no way it can be removed...only way is to wait for the next os update from microsoft.This issue was acknowledged by microsoft.
For more information kindly search google for "wp8 other folder issues". Disappointed a lot by this and the update is planned for july but not sure..

i purchased lumia 520 a week ago, but from last night when i charged mobile to 100 %, after some time battery drained to 27% and then to 0%. please help is it some kind of bug or hardware issue??

My lumia 520 is not responding while i m trying to switch it on.the phone is not responding since i have opened its battery and put the sd card inside.while conecting to charger it just show a batery symbol n charger symbol just.and not switching on further. What is problem?

No dear...first format with fat32...then u can easily use ur microsd card....but about viruses from sd card am also not sure....

Suddenly my lumia 520 got switched off n when i m trying to switch it on it showing nothing.when inserting the charger only battery symbol with red bar in it and charger symbol is showing but not turning on further it.i have just removed the batery to insert sd card .what can be problem. Please help me ?

Iam,useing these phone 1 month it is perfect and awesome.No hanging
and I browse 6 hours continously battery still remaining 1 hour
I want to appreciate NOKIA and MICROSOFT windows

Posting this from Lumia 520.the screen,camera,browser,and Call clarity are marvellous.but there are some unpleasant things too.there is NO FILE MANAGER,in it.If someone sends a flv file via Bluetooth,it will enter your phone,but u can never find out where it is and so u can't delete it.Downloaded video files CANNOT BE SHARED VIA BLUETOOTH.Nimbuzz chat room is NOT SUPPORTED in this phone.And mind it,it uses a micro sim.IF U CAN OVERLOOK THESE,LUMIA 520 IS THE BEST PHONE IN ITS PRICE CATEGORY.

This is worth the money!!!
Well when i first opened the box...wow..there goes it the shiny new Lumia 520...
Pros:
Its cheap compared to other "branded" smartphones in the market.
Great Built quality, feels solid in hand and looks great.
Smooth but rarely sometimes it lags(it does not become much of a problem though).
Good Multitasking
Loudspeakers are Loud enough but sound quality gets a little downgraded at high volumes...If you prefer quality over loudness then u better listen at 20(in the scale of 30).
Colourful and unique interface for who are bored with android interface. The Lockscreen really looks good.
Simple to use.
Can play 1080p videos with easy but in such high quality videos navigating becomes hell.
Good Camera(If you can keep your hand steady enough and have enough light around because it doesn't come with a flash).
Charging is fast and it keeps up for long provided you are not a heavy gamer.
Theres a good game thats availiable for free..Thats "Dredd vs Zombies" it will keep u busy for sometime.
Cons:
The screen is shiny but it attracts fingerprints(a tissue paper wipe now and then will do good also advised to get a screen protector)
The screen is reflective and under sun its difficult to use.
No FM
The OS still requires development(eg. You cannot transfer video files via bluetooth, Music and pictures can still be transferred).
The handset doesn't come with a good pair of headphones.. Better if you buy one.
It requires Micro sim.
Lacks apps in the app store and most of the good apps are paid(The original Angry Birds game costs Rs 55).It doesn't even have temple run 2 and talking tom 2.
There is no file manager.
Less chance of customization(You can't set a wallpaper)
There is no Audio Enhancement and the audio player lacks equalizer.
Takes a long time to start(expected since its a smartphone).
You have to open the battery every time you change the sim or memory card and thus you have to adjust the time every time you do so.
But at this price you simply cannot expect more and this is indeed a steal at this price point. If you want something different than the android phones you see when you travel in the bus. This is the way to go..It seems as if Windows phones have a bright future.

4. no, temple run doesn't work on this phone.
5. yes internet is quite fast
6. camera quality is good in bright light
