skr, 24 May 2013Get them all still not provide the background downloading n... moreStrange, works for me. Can you try supertube? That app specifically asks you whether to download in background or not. If you say yes and it still does not download, then your phone has some problem.

skr, 24 May 2013Get them all still not provide the background downloading n... morethen dnt blame wp8 dude.. os is ultra secure.. try to search useful apps frm store out of 1,50,000 apps.. why u wasting ur time to blame os.. wp8 allows background running feature.. only want to service provide by app developers fr ex. whatsapp nd uc runs in baground when whatsapp team add ths feature to app.. simple.. whatsapp nd uc still in beta state.. so lots of stuff is coming in few months..

As for new features coming, they will be coming to all OSes. For e.g iOS just got LTE support and facebook integration in the previous version and still lacks NFC support. No OS in the world can be called absolute final, because new things keep coming.

Also, if you have a file manager, you still can't do anything the OS does not allow. For e.g if you try to copy a video to videos folder, it will say "this operation is not permitted due to security reasons." Understand.

1. They are not really multitasking...
I'm sorry I meant UCBrowser. There are apps which allow background downloads. Why blame OS if UCBrowser does not support it?-> plz tell me an app or anyway by which i can download any file while i leave the application running in background and can do some other work at same time in my phone..
2. its not free.. It cost Rs. 236 with credit or debit card payment option. -> It has free trial version.->ya but i still hav to buy it if im interested in watching any other format video and as im a student i don't hav any debit or credit card..
3. U cannot install any third party app. -> So you mean to say MS and Nokia wrote all apps?->again I'll say the same thing "what is the use of an OS with no app??" -> that is not a meaningful answer. There are 1,45,000 apps. No apps is a lie.-> But it seems that not much of them is of any use..
6. phone is not able to do that and if i could hav file manager may be i can get my 4th point n other apps also eaisly... -> If phone cannot do something, file manager also can't do the thing. this is simple commonsense. A file manager only gives access to what phone allows.-> it can do better if it hav file manager..

You are blaming OS for third party apps which is not fair. Also there are plenty of usable apps. I do not know why you can't see them.

Rohit, 24 May 2013Frnds plz suggest me lumia 520 or lg l5 two. I m confused b... morelg l5 2 is not even close to Lumia 520. It has a single core processor, 4gb internal memory (apps cannot be installed to sd) and cannot play 1080p videos. It costs 11k+ and S duos with similar features is available at nearly same price. Go for Lumia, best phone with best OS.

5. i don't know which set u r using but my lumia 520 cannot connect to the Samsung galaxy fit?? -> Then maybe your Samsung Galaxy Fit has a problem? I have connected with Lumia 710, Samsung Galaxy Note, Nexus 7 and Sony Ericsson k790i and it works perfectly.
