Just upgraded to the official 8.1 and the battery life has increased by a lot, the double if not more. That's good news.

hi guyes please help me i have some movies in my handset store by pc but i am unable to open them most of them are not showing in my video but when i open my moli player software then its showing these videos.....please give me solution.......

dats not the problem of ur moli player..it is the problem dat occurs in all music players and has come along with the cyan update.

did anyone notice after cyan from DP in the app list there is skype, i did not install it. When clicked on it asked to try it and took to store to install weird...

Thank you very much.
I have already turned LOCATION to OFF.
In my battery saver. All background apps are disabled except What's app and LINE are running in BG.
But when i checked battery saver app, i am seeing that some apps are consuming large amount of battery, like PHONE and MOLI PLAYER, these apps were consuming less battery, but as i started using MOLI PLAYER and then i stopped and closed the MOLI PLAYER, suddenly its battery usage increse.
I am charging my device two times a day after this update, intially i was charging it one time per day.
Also for MUSIC ap, i am trying to install it from store. but i am unsucessfull.
Please help.......

Finally updated from Developer preview to Nokia Cyan... No visible changes.. cortona still not working.. only some arrows above network and wifi indicators... after that i got anther update.. now installing

I hv been using this mobile from last one year.really much satisfied using this all necessary apps are available in store for free and those apps are of premium quality.most of the games run smoothly although it's 1Ghz but that is powerful enough to handle everything .camera quality is far better than any other phone at this range. Support all 1080p video .a really worthy buy

B... moreGo to battery saver app and turn off all background app and then turn off location in settings. And in 3g network both os (wp8 and wp8.1) suck the battery quicker than using mobile in 2g network. All smartphones having this issue.
Then no need to downgrade ur mobile, wp8.1 much much betr than wp8. I.E proper file manager, share any files, internet explorer 11, can download anyfiles, sharing documents, 3 tiles in home screen, background wallpaper, notification panel, word flow keyboard, upcoming months its going to get live tiles which is awesome.
Don't think bad, its new experience after 2 days u will enjoy this UI.
After turn off location and background apps I can get best battery life as well as wp8.
