Android devices are usually sluggish when it comes to web browsing while the Lumia 520 just zips through almost everything I throw at it. an example being the droid incredible 2 and this phone which are priced the same on ebay only the incredible you have to buy used while this phone you can get brand new for 65 dollars or less. Performance wise the lumia takes the cake in terms of speed and fluidity. There are certainly some big sacrifices that need to be made in terms of app selection switching over from android but that's what windows phone neeeds now. There are thousands of apps on xbox that need to come to windows phone, and if more people use windows phones this will definitely support the growth of the app store. The Lumia 520 has been so well received because of the amazing performance we get at such a low price point. plus the design of the phone is Great, it's no competition comparing it with android phones of the price point. This phone really shows the potential of windows phone, definitely should not be overlooked.

Windows Phones are little less in features but they are fast.

even on quad core n high ram android hang like hell afte few days of usage.
you cant denie this fact.
but wp8 os is very light.. ths is also best part.
so wp8 doesnt need bigger ram n chipset.
n for ur kind info
nokia, samsung, huawei n htc already wp8 handset makers.
now micromax, xolo, lava, sony, zte also told that they r working on wp8 devices..
Oems gives higher specs coz they knws android is not stable.. even flagship android phones also hangs alot then what should u talk about low end androids.
Better learn 1st dude then tell me.

Chk before commenting? Windows might be fluid but its still an unfinished product and apps collection...well I won't comment on that.
