but yes higher end devices got double tap to wake feature.. only l520,620,720 n 625 doesnt got double tap feature..
N yeah.. nokia bout by ms is great news for consumers.. its bad when ms not use nokia brand name on upcoming phones but not much matter for me.. no matter what is brand name.. hardware is still making by nokia so its heart still remains as it is..
according to experts its a gud deal..
- nokia knws what users requirements n demands so they now directly interfare in ms os development to do such changes which is impossible before..
- now nokia devices gets updates 1st than other oems like androids nexus series
- now nokia gets huge financial support for ther quality n innovations..
- n main thng is nokia is adopted by ms so nokia doesnt need to pay alot to ms for adopt ms wp os n other thngs.. so now ms absorbs ths thngs n made devices very cheap in price.. INR 15K devices price gets reduce to 8-6k..
- so ms plays ther game in INR 8-9k category to gain market share.. so its so dificult to other android oems to reduce ther prices..
- ms+nokia= Gaint
- but news also is ms also trying to buy blackberry internaly.
- if it get happen then
ms+nokia+blackberry= The biggest gaint ever in smartphone industry..
- to fulfil basic to high requirment of consumers nokia n blackbery definetly puts huge pressure to modify os quickly..

people say that they are upset as did not get double tap to wake up screen but i was watching the video of amber update on 820/920 cannot remember which model but their was option of double tap and under it was written that when double tap feature is on the battery drains quickly.thanks to nokia's thinking as lumia have only 1300mah.i am very much happy with my 620 and would not trade my phone to any other phone.and more good news for users who haven't bought lumia but planning to as microsoft is planning to lower the price of all the Lumia devices.

these gdr1,2,3 r just normal updates with very small changes.. we cant expect much frm ths small update..
just wait for wp8.1 blue which is major update.. u can expect lot from it..
gdr3 is already is under testing of nokia india..
we all get features created by ms.. but we cant expect all features created by nokia get all devices.. coz its extra treat, widgets n features created by nokia i.e. glance, double tap to wake, flip to silence n lot more.. n nokia only decides which feature give to which perticular phone..
so for low end phones cant expect high end devices features.

Citizens of lumia! Please keep the pride of WP as it is an advancing and innovating OS. Samsung os the greatest, i admit it. However we cannot lose to Sony, HTC and apple. Nokia will rise for sure its just recovering from the losses that they have made. Even though Microsoft bought Nokia, the new phones will be still under the name of Nokia. Microsoft just bought Nokia to keep Nokia away from android. People Nokia is a great brand and WP is a platform that is going to dominate ios. Don't give up. Lets support Nokia.
