our point is only related to provide updates n features.. nothing other than ths.
n its truely ri8 tht They provide useless features with gdr2.. hope gdr2 fix the ramaining bugs i.e. freezing, handing, automaticly switching off n other..

    Hey Guys plz tell me that amber window update in july 2013 is enable radio option in L620.Or amber work only in all lumia exept L620.

One of them was File manger with hidden file option.(But I doubt that Microsoft ever going to provide this feature.)

        Well, Microsoft need to listen to there customer if they want to be successful. But I don't know why they are slow in that.
        I still don't see Data Sense as useful feature and I already told you that the chance of getting this feature is 50:50. I am heavy internet user and never felt need of this feature.

        Lets hope atleast it will fix bugs in Window Phone.

                  when useful n lack free apps r coming day by day then automaticaly os goes flauless n working like charm.. like ios.. ios is working fine coz lot n lot apps r availble in apple store To hangle evrythng.

                    Agreed, 620 will not get it, but a lot of users were angry about it. Data sense helps you track your usage. All phones that are not carrier unlocked will get this feature, regardless of operator. This is particularly useful if you are a heavy data user.

                    What basic features are missing? I see three - lock rotation, sms tones and notification center. Maybe separate ringer volumes.

                      jun, 14 Jul 2013Through YouTube mobile web & YouTube app using a 3G network..Ok, then it must be the connectivity issue. I am tried with WiFi, 3G n 2G. But I only faced a buffering problem. Everything else was fine.

                        @wp8 lvr : I was expecting some new good features but... Lets see but waiting is quite annoying.

                        @neeraj.rathore : I don't know about most asked features.
                        Can you tell me how data sense is useful?
                        Because I don't see how Data Sense is useful. Mobile Operator always show how much data left and we can manage our data by on/off Data Connection and there is no guarantee that we will get this feature.

                        and FM, well its useless to all L620 users.

                        So, that's why I am saying its nothing more than useless features. Try to understand that. Its same as if basic needs(food, shelter, clothing etc) aren't fulfill then even if you get a luxury car, you'll not be happy.
                        WP8 still missing some basic smartphone features.

There are so many apps which can download, and file based system is obsolete as well as insecure. Background download has been supported since day one, developers need to implement it.

                              i thnk dual core is nt sufficient to handle real multitasking.. 1 core is here to handle os n other is handle apps..
                              in sdk i thnk all options are availble for app developers like baground downlding, run in lockscreen, run in background.. move downloaded content to respective hub(except videos).. only problem is knwladge of c#(.net) programing..
                              1 app developer adds baground dwnlding, otheradd under lockscree, uc developer add to move content to respective hub, screen rotation lock other gives other option..
                              bt no any added all these facilities in 1 app..
                              we need all these features in 1 app...
                              ms gives all these function apportnities to developers n they cant add these features to inbuilt IE brwser..
                              bt no 1 got these coding at 1 place..
                              also wp8 sdk hav some limitations..
                              Hope u understand my point.. ms saves all improvments like screen lock, notification centre n lot lot more thngs for its wp8.1 update.. they nt give it us early ths year.. we got all ths in next year

                                Instead of Data Sense,FM etc it will be lot better if they introduce Auto Screen Rotate On/OFF, Download Manager or Background Downloading etc.
                                WP still need lots of improvements and that improvements are nothing but basic smartphone features.

                                Well normally I do not complain but GDR 2 is nothing more than useless feature(at least for me).
                                I am quite disappointed.

                                  1.
                                  Go to the events page on FaceBook.
                                  2.
                                  Scroll down to the bottom and look for where it says "Past Events · Birthdays · Export" and click on "Bithdays".
                                  3.
                                  Scroll down to the bottom and look for where it says "Past Events · Export Birthdays" and click on "Export Bithdays".
                                  4.
                                  Copy the URL on the bottom of the Pop Up.
                                  5.
                                  Log into your live account and goto your Live Calendar and click on Subscribe.
                                  6.
                                  Paste the URL in the "Calendar URL" box.
                                  7.
                                  Enter Calendar name (Call it whatever you want e.g."FaceBook Birthdays" or whatever).
                                  8.
                                  Click on the "Subscribe to calendar" button.
                                  Next time your phone syncs all your FaceBook birthdays should appear in your calendar.
