Again requesting you to do a full research, or else you will end up like the guy below this comment and in turn vent your frustration on guys like me who are trying to help.

Bzinga, 09 Jul 2013I have heard of occasional battery drains on many phones bu... morethat hard reset worked but the backup restore is hell.
I was loving the OS and have recommended the friends but now I will tell them not to buy because I think MS and Nokia have launched these Lumia series in so hurry that they forgot to test basic smart phone capabilities.
I will be posting soon all the flaws of this Lumia series
some of the guys here are defending these phone so much.Even i was loving but you can't deny some feature saying this is the new technology or innovation.
Innovation should be useful not painful.

I request you to do a through research before jumping to Windows Phone platform.

hey guys , i am really confused. after going through the specs and review i thought i ll buy this phone . i checked with some local mobile deler and outlets. they said feedback of Lumia series is not good. it having software and hanging issue.

I bought d phone a month back everthing seems to be wrking fine til my my phone started to freeze dat is the screen remains white and nothing happens even after sumtime it remains d same so unforunately i hav to remove d battery and den it comes to normal and it has happened many times recently.......so plz help.....:(

I am sure your phone will boot up after the reset. If not then surely there is some hardware problem with your set.

i found similar solutions on other forums and it seems its a generic issue.
I am not sure how hard reset will help in booting if it is power issue and after hard reset from where it will get the power to boot up.
and if battery drain will result in hard reset every time then i am sure i want my money back from nokia,
its holy mother of all bug out there in smart phone world.

my mobile is not booting up.
It was working well ... moreLooks like you would have to hard reset your phone. This would result in loss of any data stored on the phone including all the apps.
You can try the following steps
Step 1:Make sure the charger is disconnected.1. Switch the power Off.2. Press and hold the Volume down and connect the charger, if succeed an exclamation mark (!) is shown on the screen.
Step 2:Then input the keys in the following order:1. Volume up 2. Volume down 3. Power 4. Volume down
Step 3:The phone will reset and boot up automatically. Please note that this may take several minutes.
If this does not work, then take your phone to a nokia service center
ps: this happened to me as well and I gave it to a service center for a hard reset

hi guys
my mobile is not booting up.
It was working well but today battery totally drained, then i plugged in the charger but its in a loop since then like nokia logo ->blue screen->vibrate->nokia logo ->blue screen
soft reset not working.
can't charge while mobile is off because as soon as i plug the charger it try to start and loop starts again.
any one got this problem?
help please if you have solution.
