Samsung Galaxy S duos(43 hrs Endurance) Battery backup is better than Lumia 620(36 hrs endurance).
This is according to GSMArena battery test not mine.
Battery is only thing which is stopping L620 to be the best mid-range smartphone.
But yeah! Specs,build quality,design wise Lumia 620 is lot better than Samsung Galaxy S duos.

But never go for samsung duos.. u will suffer.. even my bro bought few months back.. it's battery life is very bad and if it fall once then u will cost more for it's repairing.. so always buy Nokia phones... and more over Lumia series..
Battery life in windows fone is awesome as camparable with android fones

Well, If you know about Window Phone very well(I means limitation) then yeah! it is good window phone.
From Nokia I have no complaint(except battery), everything is awesome, build quality,design every thing.
I have some problems but they are related to OS (Microsoft Window Phone 8).

there was a data a month ago from reputed source that 20% apps on play store in android and 50% apps from other third party app stores on android violate app sandboxing security feature of OS and access unnecessary features of phone like game accessing SMS/phone book/log/location/IP log etc without actually needing but just to gather data for advertising. that is horrible! i cross checked on play store and even some of top 50 apps and games access unnecessary information. there are thousands of such kind of apps. that was big blow for my privacy and security.
checked the situation on windows phone store and found that microsoft only allows 12 different kinds of permissions for third party apps and none of it violates privacy and access sensitive data of phone. they also claim that they review apps in person before publishing to store unlike automated system in android.
i have an idea that android is insecure but things are actually turning out worst. sold my galaxy S2 as i can not tolerate this. i have to carry confidential data many times. windows phone was last in priority before. checked apple app store. its secure too but found windows to be most secure after reading privacy statements of app stores and OS by apple. google and microsoft.
microsoft is most confident and open about user privacy. google on the other hand themselves agree that some apps may inject malicious content on your phone or violate your privacy. play store and google do not take responsibility of such incidents.
what a shame google! its a time to open eyes and see the things around. don't buy phone for just apps and apps and experimenting with it. read and get knowledge yourself about privacy as it is very serious concern in these days.
i bought lumia 620 after researching this and found that even no. of apps is not very serious problem in windows. and actually they respect privacy. none of the app reads my sms, log, have rights to modify it, nothing! peace!!
will upgrade to better higher end windows phone later. i hope windows phone retains this characteristics and microsoft keeps tight control on app store and app permissions.
sorry for a long and boring though sharing but if you care about privacy and security, please cross check things yourself and spread the word!
