Using it for a week now. No signs of Lag. Moved from Android to Windows Phone 8. Yes the app catalouge is small but I did not buy a phone just to play Temple run. Most of social networking apps are available. Instagram is not available. Temple run works only on Windows phones that have 1 GB or more RAM, but there is romours that with the new updates in the app, devices with 512 RAM would get to download and play temple run. Asphalt 7 was also missing on store but Asphalt 7 is available now on 512 RAM devices. It is very fluid and smooth. Internet Sharing did not work for me! :( Look and feel is very good compared to all other mid range Android devices. Screen quality is brilliant. And 3G runs without a glitch. however, if you are a heavy 3G user and use Store/Facebook/Twitter or browse internet then battery would dischange in 5-6hr (from 100% Charge). Just to check the stand-by capacity of the battery i did not use 3G or wifi and the battery lasted for 39 hour (Pretty Good!)

AnonD-41271, 11 Apr 2013You got me wrong me mate, one less pizza from my pocket, bu... moreI am sure that all 512 MB devices will get all GDR updates (GDR2 and GDR3) and Windows Blue with new lifecycle (some features likely to be compromised for 512 MB devices like Tango did with 256 MB 7.5 devices).

and 1GB devices will get all WP blue software feature. However Blue will take time to arrive on existing devices as MS, Nokia and other partners will first launch fresh new devices with new WP Blue supported hardware like 1080p displays and then update existing devices (common marketing tactic in industry)

SuperNexus, 11 Apr 2013Now that's neutral(commenting in favor of both sides). Next... moreBut that is the case only. Each new version of any Microsoft product brings fresh 18 months of support. That is why WP7 devices like HTC HD7, Samsung Focus (launched in October 2010 with WP7) are still supported till 9-9-2014 because they received WP 7.8 update in Feb 2013. Same is the case with Nokia Lumia 7.5 deviced like 710 and 800. Although they were released in Nov 2011, they will still be supported till Sep 2014 because they received 7.8 update and WP 7.8 is supported till Sep 2014.

Same is with desktop windows versions. They have 5 years of support cycle. XP SP3 is still supported because it was launched in 2008. However SP1 (2002) and SP2 (2004) support is ended now (I have no exact dates for this but you can search on internet)

The thing is, what MS mean by support is security support and patches if any vulnerability is reported. It does not mean new features. However EACH new version of MS product with new features brings its own support lifecycle.

Now it is obvious that Lumia 620 and other low and mid range WP8 devices will at least receive one major feature upgrade, so support will be extended further by 18 months.

You can check lifecycles of WP and other MS products here: http://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle/search/default.aspx?alpha=windows+phone

                      3) Try selecting your network provider manually, it mentions below the name of the provided, whether its 2G or 3G.

SuperNexus, 11 Apr 2013Now that's neutral(commenting in favor of both sides). Next... moreYou got me wrong me mate, one less pizza from my pocket, but still got friends around to rob them. :D :D :D

Bought Gravity Guy 2 for my mom she loves playing it and Asphalt for myself.

Yes thats what I said before, I am totally confused as what to expect. The theory is that MS will launch a new version of Windows Phone before say 6 months of July'14, which will carry its own 18 month cycle. So that OEM's around the world have enough time to test the upgrade and update their devices as well as make plans for upcoming devices that will have that New Windows built in.

But the question again arises is will all the devices get the update or will the lower end one will eat the dust.

But again comes the question of low end device. Well the new Windows will also have low end devices which will run on dual core processors and 512MB ram. So if they can run, why can't ours get updated?

But also I have seen companies give stupid reasons for not updating their devices to a newer version, even when the hardware supported it.

But MS cannot afford another WP7-8 fiasco as it will attract a load of negative reviews.

Now you see why I am confused?. Thats why I constantly need your and others inputs as I might miss something or you guys might add another dimension to my theory.

for all those who are confused about the color selection, let me tell you one thing that the color that you see on the picture is actually the color of the panel and you can buy any panel in the nokia store which is available for approximate rs. 500 INR. YOu can buy as many panels as you want.
