My phone came preinstalled with portico update i.e. 1308 series. Also I found that the sections in settings are also apps from Windows App store. So I followed this link and updated all of them and also got the "Storage Check" option. It is not the function of CPU to have FM supported... morePlease read what SoC means and then post your intelligent comment. To clarify, SoC is system on chip which includes FM radio hardware also.
So in short, Lumia series have FM radio on board, only software is required to activate it. And that will be done only by MS.

Its good for apps but its not good for gaming even temple run in wp8 only support 1gbram device only that so cruel

Finally I have Brought L820 yesterday :) Simly amazing Loving it.Planned to Buy L620/L720 but after the Price cut to L820 felt it good .

It is not the function of CPU to have FM supported.Rather a motherboard chipset which may or may not have that function of FM.Without hardware no software will be utilised.So do not imagine that FM will come from grave after upgrading.
