AnonD-109553, 13 Mar 2013gud review bro:) wat abt audio quality ?? is it possible to... moreThanks, well while the stock headset is average, I am using Nokia BH-505 and the audio quality on the them is really good, you can have clear bass and good treble, the voice part seems to a bit itchy if there is too much bass in the songs, but if you listen to classical musical you can get a good experience.

I haven't been able to test battery time for each task separately will need more time for that.

AnonD-41271, 13 Mar 2013Time for my hands on experience. It has been 24hrs since... moreGreat review mate! You have great skills of understanding the things and sum up for good or bad! Its amazing to know how much you learnt about WP/Lumia experience in just 24 hours! You are rally using your phone as a 'smart'phone from day one! And android fanboy part is really funny yet so true!

If possible,, please post your review on Flipkart as many buyers refer them. But don't forget to add that you havnt purchased it from flipkart. Here on GSM arena, your hands on experience will be lost somewhere in hundreds of comments within a day so do justise to it! :D

Time for my hands on experience.

It has been 24hrs since I bought the phone and here are my view on it.

Design: - The 3.8 screen is perfect for one hand operation and even typing, I can lazily lie on bed and reply to msgs with just the thumb. The rounded corners make sure that even when device stay firmly in our hand, it doesn't poke you. The screen sits slightly raised on the device which i found nice while reaching for corners during typing. The phone is very firmly built with no creaking sounds anywhere. The back cover feels very very sturdy. The push of the buttons is firm but easy, especially if you want to use the camera button halfway to focus. The only thing I found odd about is the way we remove the back cover by pushing the camera module. Hope Nokia had made it sturdy enough. But I will request you to avoid it. At least I am. The display is amazing it has a great viewing angles, I don't have to lift the phone from the desk to check the notification. Have kept the brightness to auto and it works wonder, the screen is clearly visible in direct sunlight, you don't have to strain your eye at all. Nokia's ClearBlack really does some wonders.

Interface: After you start the device you are welcomed by the usual Windows Phone 8 homescreen consisting of some of the pinned tiles be default. The UI feels smooth and fluid with no lag at all. Even after I have installed a plethora of apps and few games the device feels extremely smooth. The typing on a small keyboard might throw a challenge especially for people with club thumbs like mine, but once you get the hang of it, it doesn't bother you anymore. I am really enjoying the typing on this device. Overall its nice experience with something new. Have pinned the tiles that give out the notification on the top, just in case I miss the toast notifications. Some people might find the tiles boring but for me they are perfect.

Spec Sheet: Everybody knows this phone has the lowest of the required specs for WP8. But yet the phone performs super smooth with equal fluidity no matter how many apps are running in the background or are allowed to be keep themselves alive in the background. For my device following apps are always alive in the background viber, skype, talk.to, whatsapp, facebook, twitter and CNN. Even after so many background task, whenever I launch a new apps or game I see no performance degradation at all. So, I would request you not to go on the spec sheet. Its only 1/4 the story. Even skype runs very well on it. Was video chatting with my friend in Bangkok for almost an hour with no lag in video or audio, only when I switched to 2G the voice lag was noticeable but on 3G and Wi-Fi it a butter

Apps and Games: Have to agree WP is still behind the likes of iOS and android in number of apps, but that’s the limit, its only lacking in numbers besides that the most needed apps are present for each category and the quality of these apps are top notch except for whatsapp which I will explain later. Along with this the usual set of Nokia Applications like navigation and camera lenses really makes this phone stand out from the crowd. Games division though needs a good boost, it lacking quantity on serious basis. But seeing the recent updates, I am being optimistic that it will improve. The problem with the whatsapp I noticed was with only notifications. Sometimes you get the notification but when you open it there is no chat, you have to wait for a while for whatsapp to properly refresh itself. Sometimes you get the toast notification afterwards, like suppose you have group that constantly chatters, so sometimes you view those chats, close your app and the after a while you a get a notification of those chats. I observed this on both cellular data as well as Wi-Fi. Another thing is that was observed only yesterday, today its working fine, getting notifications on time. I hope the next update fixes it. Besides whatsapp, viber, talk.to, fb, skype all are working fine with proper notifications.

Camera: The camera outdoors is awesome it takes some stunning pics even better than 3 Duos or Xperia J. The trouble starts when you are indoor and that too during night. You will get somewhat grainy pics, they are not as good as the outdoor day time pics, but I observed this same with other phones as well. Other thing was adjusting to the backlight, if there is light source behind your subject, the subject appears dark, while the flash light will compensate for that later when you click, but if the subject is too far then event the flash light won't be of any help. So all in all it’s a great cam for picnics and outings, but I have a doubt about parties and pubs. The front camera is average, nothing to talk about, but you can use Glam Me lens from Nokia and can take some nice self-portraits.

Battery Performance: Have to accept that the battery seems to be the weak spot. But I am impressed. On the first day itself it gave me a 7 hrs. of total usage time which included total calls of around 30 mins, 15-20 sms, 8-10 pics, an hour of web surfing and constantly connected to either Wi-Fi of cellular data for whatsapps, emails, skype, facebook, twitter and talk.to. Not even for a minute I went offline. So I think after a week it will easily give me a day's worth of battery.

Multitouch, heating, other storage: I have no mulitouch issue, at all test with every scenario battery full, battery half, battery almost dead, battery saver mode on, was able to register 10 fingers easily. For heating, if you use the phone while charging it tends to get hot a bit, not extremely hot but you can slightly notice. It gets warm you can say to right side of the camera module. Other storage which was a problem in the past is no longer a problem, now you can easily clear that storage. Go to settings, scroll to bottom, tap on the storage check, it will take some time to analyse, after that swipe to left, you will see the option to clear the temp storage over there.

My Conclusion: The only thing cheap about one of the cheapest WP is the price tag, other than that’s it’s a marvellous device no issue that I could complain of. I love this device, undoubtedly I can say this is best mobile phone with a price tag of 14.5K. My all friends were so jealous of this, some of them just went away simply hating that this is not an android, but I could see they were jealous and hating for no reason. Because when I asked them tell me 5 reasons their android was better they had no answer. They kept on repeating just one thing, it’s not android and I was laughing like hell. :D :D :D.

Why should you buy Lumia 620?

1] Dual shot panels looks cool and indeed sturdy. There are a bunch of colors to choose from.

2] Best display with Nokia - ClearBlack technology. Use it under a direct sunlight with no difficulty.

3] Nokia apps are just awesome and very helpful. Nokia Music, Mix Radio, Here Drive, Here Maps, Here Transit, Here City Lens and may more for free. Remember you get the offline maps and Nokia Music only on Nokia devices.

4] Camera with Smart Shoot. One click will take several shots, pick the best you like. You also get a front facing camera for video calls.

5] Snapdragon™ S4 - Dual-core 1 GHz processor with 512 MB RAM. Trust me this is more than sufficient to run this device butter smooth.

6] The last and the best part is it’s a Windows Phone. Use this for few days and I'm sure you'll never touch any other OS.

                                Thank you
