AnonD-41271, 12 Mar 2013Its extremely easy, no need to worry about it.Nokia Lumia 620 is my 3rd windows phone. Every time i had bitter experience with Windows!! my first WP was a HTC S620 (which had a broken display and the display was more expensive than the phone itself!). secont one was a SE Experia X1 which was good in its performance compared to HTC(though built by HTC!) now its the Lumia 620's turn and it seems to be another irritating ****!! It hangs a loat and needs a battery removal to restart! Have any of you encountered the same problem? The battery drains in 5hrs if the GPS is anabled! otherwise its good for a day. Now is there any firmware update for L620? its not showing in the update app. This is not better than androids in terms of stability(Android is better in some aspects). This one is a change for your eyes but not better than the rest....

Guys, may i suggest something?
I know some of us here is consistently checking this thread since dec. last year. Reading lectures, thoughts and opinions of all of us.
May i suggest to some of the big names here like theapprentice, athull, cellmaniac, supernexus etc. to create a group on facebook for all of us lumia620 fans?
Because if we have a group, we can easily share expiriences like posting screen shots, tips, tutorials and etc. and most importantly, to show to other people that they are wrong in underestimating this handset especially nokia and wp8.
A group named, "Nokia Lumia 620 Users". What do you think guys? :D

I am not sure about out of the box support for .mkv and .avi files.

so do i need to download the zune sof... moreNo need to download Zune for WP8. WP8 is independent of Zune. You can transfer files directly to phone as it will display in MTP mode (similar to mass storage) in Windows 7.
But keep your files in appropriate folders. Like documents in documents folder, music in music etc.

i hav windows7 pc..
so do i need to download the zune software in order to synchronise this phone ? or a direct transfer of files is possible ?

thanks for clarity mate.. I had learned that on internet explorer that u dont need to press the back button to exit just tap the x on previous tab and tap the back and viola it out in the background..
